Yeah, everything is not pointing towards dwarves. We got a couple of trading post items, some “Storm rider” Dragonriding achievements, and the story of Khaz Algar which comes from the Algarian Stormrider. The only thing in that bunch that actually applies to the next expansion is the Algarian Stormrider.

The Storm rider achievements could be something for 10.2 and not apply to 11.0 at all, and the gear is just some cool trading post items that allow you to live out your Storm rider dwarf fantasy.

As for the mount being an elemental, I didn’t say it was the ice elemental from the blizzard ad, I said it’s likely a variation of this;

Which would make sense given that these also exist near Titan facilities in Northrend.

"Near titan facilities" Exactly 1.. there is nothing in Sholazar that is named Stormrider. They are not even near Ulduar. Yea "In the same zone is close bruh" doesn't work here.

Voidstorm was the most recent thing i saw floating around so that's why i decided to choose it for the AI images So yeah meme-ing around.
Next expansion could be Westworld for all i care just make the story good and keep the Dragonflight gearing systems

Just because someone is righteous and values justice doesn't mean that they are a good person. Many dictators throughout history, as well as in fiction exhume these values. The same applies to the aesthetic.

Plus if he's based off Odin in Norse Mythology, wasn't Odin also a bit of an asshole in mythology as well? If so, then yeah Odyn is likely to go down that route as well.

I wouldn't be shocked if this leads to a possible Ragnarok plot thread.

You're talking about:

1 mob in 1 zone, in a side area. Not even near Ulduar or any titan construct (which there are multiple of in Storm Peaks, they are near none of them). Nowhere in WoW is there a Stormrider named mob near any titan facility. So yea, I'd call that reaching.

I was thinking this, in the flashbacks we saw Tyr does seem to genuinely care about the Aspects. Now, what happens when he awakens and sees they arent the same as he left is to be decided but Tyr is not the same as Odyn. Very interested to see how Vyrak and Odyn interact in the encrypted in-game cinematic and how the Storm Drakes make it to the Isle

Thats exactly what the NF were meant to be but it could be explored so much more. Im onboard for underground/hollow Azeroth! I like Zaralek and didnt get the same feeling others did which I can still respect but Id be a nice setting change

I was about the only person on this forum predicting a dragon race/class combination with HotS abilities.
I never stated that Tyr was 100% the next expansion villain. I have no idea where you got that from.

More than likely, none of that has anything to do with 11.0. The only thing likely tied to 11.0 is the Algarian Stormrider, which might have nothing to do with the Dwarf stuff coming in 10.2.

There's a mount that drops from a raid boss in 10.2 that has dragonriding animations and is a fire owl.

Yeah, gryphons have dragonriding animations in 10.2.
And the preorder mount for 11.0 is probably a customizable “dragonriding” gryphon based on the datamining.

It could be, but that's not very likely. More than likely, it's to recognize dragonriding getting expanded to Gryphons in 10.2 which more than likely has nothing to do with 11.0. That said, I will say that the Algarian Stormrider's name is an interesting tie-in, and because of that I can't say that it is 100% one way or another.

Guys Marlamin has already posted about how likely the mount and pet and achievements are to be related to the pre-order, and he has way more experience and knowledge in this area than Teriz, who will never admit someone understands better than he does about anything apparently. No need to argue about this AGAIN when we know he won't budge and the actual dataminer has already given an opinion.

Do we have any clues to what happens with Odyn besides that the stormdrakes follow Vyranoth back to the Isles? Any indication as to what Odyn is doing after the confrontation?
