Yeah. Usually the actual leaks, when they happen (and it is rare for a genuine early text based leak to happen), do not have a lot of detail. They tend to be short, bullet-point style lists with some random facts. I've seen a number of ones pop up in this topic that have potential. Also the real leaks are usually one off drops into existing topics like this. I don't think a single standalone leak topic has ever proven to be the correct one. (Could be wrong, though)
Cosmic greetings, all, I'm the Raccoonatic Commander!

I think the full list of dragonriding ports are these:
Gryphons (Shared with Cliffside Wylderdrake)
Pterrodaxes (Shared with Windborne Velocidrake)
Pre 10.0 Dragons and Regular Drakes (Shared with Highland Drake)
Protodrakes (Shared with Renewed Protodrake)
Firehawks (Shared with Renewed Protodrake)
Heart of the Aspects (Shared with Winding Slitherdrake)
If there are any I'm missing, please let me know. I'm hoping they add cloud serpents and the weird Ardenweald things to the Slitherdrake rig.

The latter "most likely" could go either way but my gut feeling says the gryphon texture is not for Algarian Stormrider due to its low resolution compared to the current customizable mounts but that's not exactly evidence and could very well end up being wrong.
I'd say this is the most likely scenario:
Whatever the Storm Rider achievements are for will become available during 10.1.7 or 10.2.0 depending on whether the pre-order goes up during 10.1.7 or 10.2.0. All that stuff is ready to go in 10.1.7 which is currently live.
Gryphons/other drake based mounts won't get dragonriding in 10.1.7/10.2, but a mount using the gryphon skeleton could, which is why gryphons got animations for dynamic flying relatively early compared to other mount skeletons (with the exception of drakes).
That should definitely be account-wide, it is for me.
Since this is going nowhere, I'll just say this; If the Algarian Stormrider is related to the storm rider achievements and any of that dwarf stuff then it more than likely isn't the heroic pre-purchase mount for the next expansion. More than likely, it's a mount you get rewarded with when you complete Storm Riding in 10.2.

Perhaps the pre-event includes us learning how to fly through the storms, and the courses are placed in storm-related zones:
* Storm Peaks
* Isle of Thunder
* Vol'dun
* Stormsong Valley
* Netherstorm
* Stormheim
Then, the "storm gryphon" and a "Storm Rider" title are the rewards for completing all of the courses.
I'm having second thoughts about the Algarian Stormrider being the gryphon. First: it would require gryphons to be - by a happy coincidence - present in Khaz Algar. Second: the name "Stormrider" suggests some kind of agency. I would call the rider of the gryphon a stormrider, not the gryphon itself.
So, perhaps the Algarian Stormriders are the dragons of Erinethria's brood? The books in 10.2 hint at a green dragon passing through the storm and settling on the other side of Azeroth.

This is most interesting. Cause it doesn't sound at all like something for pre-order, but rather thing you earn in game and I would rather expect in 11.0 Alpha build.
But again, any pre-expansion event will be in 11.0 files, not rewards for 11.0 pre-order in 10.2 build.

Very possible, but two green drakes in a row for CE is a bit on the nose. Unless they are very transformed.

Huh? We know the Algarian Stormrider is the Heroic edition Mount. That's the only thing already confirmed & how we know its name in the first place. Only Heroic Edition mount achievements are phrased this way. "Algarian Stormrider: Heroic Edition"

I just had a "Ha ha. Elunite Dwarves, that would never happen....Unless" moment. What if the fissure at Khaz Algar really is where Elun'ahir was uprooted? And where that world tree regrew is in 11.0? Dwarves that worship Elune? That would tie all these new referenced locations together. And if Khaz Algar and Elun'ahir is connected to Avaloren, that would explain why Odyn called them Heretics. The worship of Elune would be heretical to Keepers made by any Titan other than Eonar. I'm not saying dwarf druids but I am thinking it very loudly.
OMG the expansion hasn't been announced yet and I'm already sick of this World of Warcraft: Shitstorm

So I was gone a couple day and now I am over 100 pages behind. lol Anything good I missed?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
When you think about it, isn't it weird those were added as dragon models? lol I don't think we ever had any other dragons in the history of the game that were like that.
One correlates with an alliance race - dwarves.
One correlates with a horde race - trolls.
And isn't it interesting those 2 races were featured in the bonus "Take to the skies" cinematic? Blizzard loves their symbolism. What if these two who were once being chased by the storm (Raszageth), are now flying into it in part 2.
World of Warcraft: Stormchasers.... Stormbreaker? Stormhammer.... idk
