If your story needs the characters to be stupid to work it is not a very good story.

As far as I can tell there is a swap ability that switches between called Flying: Dynamic and Flying: Static. We don't know if they will become implemented, but if they are It'll probably just be on Dragonriding mounts. They are working on enabling a lot of mounts for Dragonriding but it will be a long time before its enabled for all of them. And even then I'm talking about the Dragonriding label on the mounts. I think it makes more sense for it to go from "Dragonriding" to "Stormriding" than to "Dynamic" because that's has a clearer meaning to an unfamiliar player, assuming the new expansion is about Storm Riding.

IIRC the toggle makes "viable" mounts use dynamic flying, so they have that covering in that whenever they implement dynamic for X mount model it'll just start using that if you have the toggle.

Speaking of Neltharion and control devices. What do you guys think they will do with Adamanthia? As far as I'm aware she is still healing up after being stuck in torture for over 10k years.

Blizzard has been pretty good with tyeing up loose stories in this expansion. I wonder if she'll have a bigger role or will just be a side character.

Considering we only saw one singular talking dragon in the Shadowlands, who has a personal connection to Elune, I think its very possible they go somewhere else where they die.

I think people are tunnel visioning a little on the bits of datamining we got (stormrider mount), plus it's what the fake leaks have been on about so it further sticks in people's brains

But from what we know the storms are just what's preventing us from going west, it doesn't seem like it will actually be an important part of the plot.

I mean the mists in pandaria weren't important either tbh. Still in the xpac name.

I mean the tenth expansion and the 20 year anniversary of the game. There will never ever be a more appropriate time for a revamp than now.

I still don't get what that was all about. There should have been more Mist and less faction war. I mean I understand the point they wanted to make, but it could have been fully about exploring the zones, a lot more mist, less permanently destroyed areas and perhaps the Thunder King as the end boss.
