But don't the Elemental Lords predate everything else on Azeroth, Titans and Old Gods included?
I'm willing to bet that Tyr wakes up, he senses that the storm west of Kal has dissipated and that Uldaz and the world soul are now vulnerable.
Since Vyr is on our side now, she confirms this as part of Iri's plan and we get a flashback of Raz doing her thing in visage form.
To be fair I still can't believe that was all real. Not just because of how bizarre the evoker is, but because of how the info was being fed to us. Has there ever been a real leak before that was someone teasing and giving out riddles instead of just dropping straight info? It all seemed ridiculous and convoluted at the time and like scaleface was just having a laugh getting people to follow a nonsensical goose chase. And that screenshot of the dracthyr still just looks goofy as hell.
They don't give us any hard dates, which does lead to some weird implications. Like Galakrond & the Black Empire reigned over the planet during the same time but they apparently never interacted? Interesting part relevant to the discussion of a Spirit Elemental lord: Chronicle starts out saying the elemental power of Spirit was consumed by Azeroth directly. Which might even be the reason it has a world soul in the first place. It sounds like the Elemental Lords developed at this point, in order to compete with the other elements for any vestiges of life that remained for them. There's no record of when Galakrond actually first came into being, just that he appears to have already existed when the Titans arrived. So for all we know Galakrond might pre-date the Elemental Lords.
The Old Gods first enslaved the Elemental Lords, then developed the Black Empire. So there's no clear explanation to what existed first: The Elemental Lords, The Old Gods, or Galakrond.

I don't think that is possible since protodragons are literally fleshy creatures that evolved from elementals. Unless you're suggesting they were elementals that existed before the lords did, and got turned fleshy later on? Besides, Alex acts like Vyranoth was as much her sister as the other aspects are her "siblings" (not actual siblings like Ysera of course), and I don't think Alex or Noz or Ysera have ever discussed what it was like being an elemental being before the Old Gods arrived.
10.2.5 will definitely focus on the conflict between Tyr and Alexstrasza/Vyranoth first. Do not expect much outside of a single quest chain. And we are yet to see if Vyranoth is no longer wishing to follow Iridikron (after he deliberately send Fyrakk spiraling for his goal).
If anything, I wanna know when they became this smart. I assume they got empowered with the elements and advanced intelligence after the aspects got their transformations, in retaliation so they could fight them. Because when you play through Ysera's memories her mind was quite simple as a protodragon. Everything was either food, friend, "not-alive" and basic things like that. I doubt the Incarnates were on the same level as they are now back when they aspects were only borderline sentient.
Another thing that's never clarified beyond them saying they are all "of Galakrond's brood." I think there's two possibilities. 1.) Either Galakrond has innate elemental power that the Incarnates inherited. Or 2.) At some point before they were imprisoned each of them ate a previous Elemental Lord, thereby gaining their powers.
This thread has spiraled out of control :| 100 pages in 2 days, I'm like not even trying to follow at this point. :|
And the tons of fake "leaks" we get daily. Now that's a fever dream.
I should prolly just wait for the official announcement of "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Dwarves of the Stormy Depths of Khaz Algar, Home of the Elements, Gryphons & Some Titans -- an Adventurous Thrall Story; Deluxe Edition"
