    No?

Diremaul was mostly demons, Satyr (but still heavily legion) and it never really touches on Fae. Even withthe Ancient and Treants. Even without those, if you go with feel, it's a much more Mage/Scholarly feel. You have the hidden library of knowledge, you have the feel of an ancient city that has crumbled into disrepair.

But ultimately, it's not really close to anything I put down?

Which still leaves you with more than a dozen zones. That'd be enough for 3 expansions.

I seriously don't think you guys grasp why you're asking for.
Some zones are very easy to merge, like most of upper EK into Lordaeron. It may seem like a big job but it’s not like they need to do both continents in one expansion. They have even more time to push it out in parts as patches.

Normally wouldn't post a dev social media post but this one is explicitly indicating in black and white that something interesting will be in the next PTR build.

Based on their role, assuming something systems-y - readding the dynamic flight toggle perhaps? Or something entirely unexpected.
It is 100% related to dynamic flight.

Honestly, my dream expansion path/plans is that they should do an update of each continent, one at a time. But like, don't just end at EK and Kalimdor. WotLK should be updated at this point. So, really, should MoP. I think Broken Isles could be left out because it's recent enough. I wouldn't mind a new expansion set in Outland either, if it's done properly, but I think that would be kinda messy.

Looks like he worked on character customization stuff for DF, if he is still on that it might be druid form testing becoming available as they were half-implemented last build. Guess we'll find out in the upcoming week!

Would be super cool if that made it into 10.2 as well!

I want Avaloren to be Camelot
The green dragons as the dragons
    Earthen as the people
    Xal as Morgan
A magical legendary weapon only usable by the king to be which is someone we meet along our journey

Make us knights of the circular desk

This is also a good bet.

If they intend to implement regular flight into DF during 10.2 which they have confirmed is happening, that is most likely going to be where we first see it.

I'd love for Anduin to appear as some sort of mystery knight in Avaloren in some form. Not sure what their plan with his story is, but I think he's due to return.

This is a bit of a nitpick, I know.

But Dire Maul is more Greek, like most Night Elven stuff. I know people tend to associate the Kaldorei with Japanese, Korean and Norse, but as a whole they tend to be pretty Mediterranean.

Roman tends to have sweeping domes, giant arch's. Big on circular stuff. Also, Diremaul is actually built for use. It's a big city, but nothing really in the city screams "I'm big for the sake of big".

Roman Empire though? Their all about "let's make stuff big because it can be big".

Ok but like....not a fan of Avaloren just being Arthurian Legend bait, but totally a fan of Anduin having complete amnesia and thinking he is someone else. Nice counter to his character in SL.

More often than not people either don't bother with a new class or never play it much past capping one, unless they're objectively overpowered
A 'gladiator' warrior spec or commander spec would be awesome, I've read a few ideas on the matter, shouts, banners, etc. Would be very cool.

I don't recall where I read it, could certainly be wrong, but I recall reading that adding new specs to existing classes is rather hard. Obviously it can be done, look at druid and evoker, but is it easier than a new class entirely, idk.

I think both new classes and specs are welcome additions, new playable features help make the game feel fresh and evolving.

It's just rankling that we'll now have three modern Warcraft IPs (HotS, Hearthstone, Rumble) that include Tinkers and yet we can't play as them ourselves in WoW, for now.

New specs were hard in the Borrowed Power era because they'd have to design Artifacts, Legendaries, Azerite Traits, make sure all the Covenant stuff works with them, etc. and also the focus on spec fantasy over class fantasy meant they'd need to have their own utility toolkit, set of damage spells, resource etc.

Now with the unpruning, return to class fantasy and talent trees all you really need is a spec tree and making sure most of the class tree works with the spec, so it's incredibly easy to add new specs. Case in point, Augmentation is the first time a spec was ever added mid expansion.

Which... there's absolutely no way that they added all the hooks and special functionality for support specs just to add Augmentation in a random patch and leave it at that. It's pretty clearly a beta test for future support specs.

honestly the ek cup should remind everyone the old zones are very small. Including mechagon & nazjatar, Zandalar & kul tiras was about the same size as ek & kalimdor combined.

Oops, someone beat me to it.

I will say that green dragons supposedly being the main dragonflight on Avaloren both lends credence to the idea that the "heathen" thing is Elune, and that Ysera's true purpose is to go there with us. Because her true purpose sure as shit isn't in DF.

It makes more sense that she would join us for one more expac than it would for her to just go back to the Dream and bring back Malfurion in the span of three patches because she didn't have anything else to do.

I mean the word Avaloren is most likely based on Avalon, so, who knows?

So the new fog is really only active on EK, Kalimdor, and Dragonflight. I went back to Draenor today and whew boy does that fog really make a difference in aging the game.

Also there are so many little bugs I have been running into recently. From phasing quests bugs reverting questlines in Twilight Highlands to the Outpost Buildings in Gorgrond being completely missing. It is pretty nuts. They have got to do some serious polish this coming expac.

Nah, Revendreth wasn't really spooky. It leaned more into Vampire stuff.
