Champion's Rest sounds like a graveyard, IMO probably something to do with Classic Hardcore. Maybe they'll have a tournament or Hardcore event, when you die you go sit there until its over .

They didn't "order" it, that's why the Titans exist. They made the Cosmos. They maybe established different things to keep each Cosmic Realm or so in balance, yeah, but that's it tbh. The Cosmic Forces are the main things which shaped the Cosmos, and Order is the thing which...well...orders the universe lol. Order also exists in places like the Shadowlands. That just means the Cosmic Forces intersect with eachother from time to time. That's literally what the game states, and it's how the Cosmic Charts portray each force, funny enough.

Also, you can make arguments that the Titans took from certain aspects of the First Ones, like the Forges or so.

I see your point but in my view the creators of the universe or whatever will always be more order aligned. Thats just my perspective. Not trying to claim thats how its supposed to be perceived in the lore. I wonder if we will get more info on the first ones any time soon.

They also describe the Black Empire as having slaves & language so the nomenclature isn't purely metaphorical. They were also a literal functioning empire with the Old Gods as the central figures of an organized religion. And the Sha wasn't a normal representation of an Old God's will, they were collectively the "ghost" of an Old God.

The races within the Black Empire can have autonomy, but they are not representative of the Old Gods themselves. Just like Dark Irons and Twilights Hammer and Naga can all be considered slaves and servants of the Old Gods, and have languages and their own societies and empires, but they are still operating towards a singular goal of annhilation of the world. They aren't unified in a singular goal together like the Legion is, where the various Demonic races all fall under the same heirarchy. Any of these different Old God forces could be at each other's throats at any given time.

We even see this with the Nerubians, who eventually evolved to the point where they no longer all serve the Old Gods, and actively fought against Faceless and Forgotten Ones, despite both being creations of the Black Empire. That is actually more representative of the unbiased, unpredictable nature of Chaos than anything we've seen in the Legion. The Legion itself is incredibly biased towards functioning as a singular, organized army that is merely fueled by 'Fel Magic', the driving element of Cosmic Force of Chaos.

Champion's Rest sounds vaguely like the name of a tavern. Probably just figured it was less of a mouthful than "Guild Hall Theater". Guessing it's a relaxed seated area for attendees to kick back with something to drink, chat with friends, and watch whatever's going on on-stage,

Well, the grandest-god (so far) in Warcraft is supposedly the "Clockmaker". Even a clockmaker needs some elementary materials to make his clockwork universe.

It'd explain why things like sound exist in every realm if he is more primordial than those higher concept cosmic thingies.

Hearthstone is the tavern in this area - which also lost their theater. Hopefully champion rest is a drinks/food side area with WoW themed stuff.

No, that is a kinda sus unconfirmed leak about a supposed single creator even above the First Ones who was the one who actually ordered the world. Ordered in this case meaning 'asked to make'.

I don't think we should ever learn anything solid about the clockmaker if they exist. Imo they created the first ones to replace the mystery of the titans. Titans were becoming too known so the mystery was gone. Keep the first ones mostly a mystery.

I agree, but apparently Blizzard doesn't. I mean we also should not have learned what the Old Gods are and what their goals are. Like that is the whole fucking point of Lovecraftian horror. Explaining their origins and aims ruins them same as how ME3 ruined the Reapers.

Once again, there is no singular clockmaker. That was just the result of an unconfirmed "leak" with no actual source beyond Accolonn's weird statements, as well as the result of a misinterpreted Ion statement.

Well I did say it is sus didn't I? I don't believe the Clockmakers is legit.

Clockmaker wasn't a leak AFAIK, it was Danuser(?) explaining how there may be someone or something at the very beginning of the universe's origins that made it into being. Like how a Clock has a creator that arranges the gears.

Doesn't mean anything, they increased the view distance for Dragonriding but didn't update the sword to show up earlier as well.

There has been some occlusion issues with the Sword since the view distance update in 10.1. Nothing new

Mists wasnt Cosmic though. It was faction war with a sprinkling of Old God to give it some weight. If BfA had actually linked N'zoth to the Faction war the expansions would have effectively had the same plot.

Id say the only cosmic expansions we have had are Legion and Shadowlands. I could see ab argument to be made for BFA or TBC but.

Uh no. I was one of the main people pointing out that it was highly unlikely to happen even before we got more 11.0 hints. IMO, it’s a rather terrible concept that should never become an expansion.

It has as much potential as Outland did.

Some thought it might be the event that started yesterday, but that does not seem to be related. So I wonder if it is a secret of 10.2, or an upcoming expansion feature they gonna showcase in the guild clash. I saw the idea here "What if its revamped starting zone leveling". I HOPE
