    World of Warcraft: Tempest

Turns out that Avaloren is home to another Titan Keeper, Prospero, who was the original Prime Designate, but was overthrown and imprisoned there by Odin. Avaloren is the land of spirits who serve Prospero. There is also tribe of native trolls (Kalimani) who are Prosperos slaves. Prospero has set up the storms around the Avaloren and summoned the Heretics that oppose Odin. We go there led by Odin, unaware that Prospero is the real Prime Designate. Upon the arrival our fleet crashes, and people go missing. In levelling we go through zones recovering the cast from different parts of Avaloren. In the first raid we aid the Kalimani trolls led by Kali'mon that want to betray Prospero, but due to the reveal we end up killing Kali'mon as the final boss of the raid. The final boss of the expac is Odin. There's also a side plot (mirroring Thralls wedding from Cata) were Tyr marries Innaria who apparently is Prospero's daughter. In the end, Prospero releases the spirits of Avaloren from their servitude, returning Spirit to Azeroth. End scene.

Just speaking historically. The majority of leaks have been in the 4-5 days leading up to an event; the highpoint of third party involvement. There's been a couple leaks that were earlier, like in the 10 day range. WoD's NGA leak was singularly early; it would have leaked today in comparison, but that source is most l likely gone and was sort of a unique internal vulnerability that hypothetically doesn't exist anymore.

I liked the borrowed power systems but Blizzard fucked up so much with them that they burned the concept so I don't think we will see it in the near future. Imo it is bound to come back at some point though.
They should just have had Azeroth re-empower the artifacts to begin with instead of this totally new system. There was no need to completely re-invent the wheel.

People really wanted to get away from SL. Granted at this exact page number last time it was bitching about the final post-raid cinematic and discussing the potential of a void vs light expac.
The BfA reveal came at around the 2300s. At this point we were analyzing stream schedules I think.
Legion was revealed around page 1190. People really not hyped during WoD. It was so bad people didn't even come here. Funny thing is the most popular bet besides BL themed was South Seas. The players really want South Seas. And Bards.

Yeah I think Shakespeare stole that idea from Indiana Jones.

Wasn't there some kind of Tempest questline in BfA?

They're all catboys. If you put cat ears on any of the characters they become impossible to distinguish from each other. Imagine designing 90% of your cast to be thin androgynes with white hair.

For all we know after that Vyranoth scenario, Odyn might be dead. We'll have to wait for what happens in that cutscene.

In the the sense the entire raid was a battle in a war, not the singular last fight. The in-universe history books are going to say "Who led the final attack on the Jailers forces? Jaina, Uther, Bolvar, Sylvanas, and a dozen unnamed mawwalkers." So sorry I didn't name every player character involved in my post, because that would have been impossible. You're trying to goad an argument by willfully misunderstanding what I said.

Hmm. Well, there was the Stormsong Valley story line which culminated in the Shrine of Storms, and then later the Crucible of Storms.
Then there was the lost fleet of Kul Tiras which was stuck in a magical storm iirc.

But those were largely contained and wrapped up within BFA.

Has any of the anniversary stuff for this year been datamined?

I think the varion and sylvanas mogs are anniversary items.

I'm still very suspicious about the dreadlord mog and feel like they're 11.0 epic edition collectibles.

    You know what Dragonflight needs?

    Odyn + Vrykul Dragonslayers.

Some pet I think. I wouldn't expect any new content year before 20th anniversary.

Nah, what we need is a hype train and all the usual weird shit we were having by this time.
Honestly it seems we are having less and less fun. The BfA thread started with the datamined Kul Tiran stuff. Now we are barely keeping up with it even with the thread starting with 10.1 speculations. Normally we would be having a blizzcon bingo, a leak spreadsheet, a regularly updated hype train and some kind of stupid meme expansion like Corgis Unleashed, The Dark Below or Wrath of the Bolvar.

I think that dreadlord armor will be monthly reward from TP, datamined 2 sky captain sets or sylvanas x lo'gosh sets will be for expansion preorder bundle.

I believe there was a blue recolour of the Deathwing themed mount from the last big anniversary event.
The world revamp dream will never die!

All of which was done by the Maw Walkers while Jaina, Uther, the Bolvar and Sylvanas tagged along and didn't actually do very much. They didn't beat anybody. Their contribution overall was rather limited. Thrall and Jaina contributed more in the Maw raid than that... by making some bridges.
And the Maw Walkers are only unnamed because naming them is literally impossible due to the nature of the medium.

See this here is why I like how Diabli III named the hero..The Nephalem. It can be both singular and plural so it doesn't really act like you did it all by yourself. And it can be used in cinematics as well. As proven by RoS.

With the way wow lore actually works it’s more likely then not that Thrall and co get all
The credit or another lore character is the canon mawwalker.

It’s pretty much a flip of the coin rather it’s “thrall lead the maewalkers to victory” like Tirion did or “X character was the mawwalker” like we got with Varian.
Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.
