Nah, what we need is a hype train and all the usual weird shit we were having by this time.
Honestly it seems we are having less and less fun. The BfA thread started with the datamined Kul Tiran stuff. Now we are barely keeping up with it even with the thread starting with 10.1 speculations. Normally we would be having a blizzcon bingo, a leak spreadsheet, a regularly updated hype train and some kind of stupid meme expansion like Corgis Unleashed, The Dark Below or Wrath of the Bolvar.

We did all this pages ago. I think the problem is maybe the thread started too early.

I mean the general consensus is that Tempest is just some internal system they use. But it would be funny if indeed that was the Expansion name

It's plausible. We knew Ysera coming back was temporary and with datamining, we know her daughter is taking the reins of being the Green Aspect. I just hope they do something with her before she returns since I don't think she's done much since returning to life.

Tempest doesn't sound like a good enough name to me, but then again neither did Shadowlands or Dragonflight. I want a name I can imagine Metzen roar-growl with a clenched fist at a Blizzcon announcement.

This isn't a leak.... It's just a very safe guess of what happens in the campaign based on what we already datamined. Pretty radical to leak a patch that's been on the ptr for a month.

Everything about this makes sense, but two things:

1) If Avaloren has an underground world tree, it makes sense for Ysera to come with us as she isn't an Aspect.

2) Who the hell is Mordoth?

Lets add a bit of fule to the Tempest fire. I mean it's cool we are settling the affairs of all the dragonflights in....dragongflight. But why? For what purpose? Cause dragons are cool? Naaah.
Remember the last time all the flights had to come together and use their aspect powers? Yep, Cataclysm, revamps and void shit.
Regardless of us going to Avaloren. Kaz'Algar or both, there will be a threat that requires the flights to work together to overcome. And my money is on Xal'atath.

It’s pretty much a flip of the coin rather it’s “thrall lead the maewalkers to victory” like Tirion did or “X character was the mawwalker” like we got with Varian.

No, and they haven't done that in quite a while. Since WoD, it was "the Commander", "the Champion" and "the Maw Walker". The named lore characters only helped.

That's kind of backwards because they literally spell that out in the quest where Ysera returns that she is not taking over any responsibilities of the flight and that Merithra is still in charge despite Ysera's return. If the aspects were to return, it was always Merithra taking on the role of the Green's.

I guess the dataminig took the wind out of the sails of the last "ysera must be the aspect" conspiracy theorists. But that's it.

Well the 4 pure dps classes need either a tank or heal spec.

So I think...

Rogue: return of combat for tanking

Hunter: survival tanking themed after rexar?

Warlock: Blood heals. There's no such thing as a ranged tank.

Mage: chronomancy heals

DH: support melee DPS, ranged DPS like that HS card.

Monk: ranged support Chiji themed

Shaman: earth tank of course.

Evoker: Green and Blue Dot spec, call it Eradication.

Warrior: gladiator

DK: return of blood DPS as support

Paladin: sword and board support DPS

Tbf, it was prolly Ysera during the alpha stage but them listening to winers changed it to Merithra later on, hence we only get now the unique model for her drake form.

We could if it's spread out throughout the lifespan of 11.0

It is the 10th exp.for the 20th anni so we know they're going to go big.

I mean look at what they're capable of in DF.

New class, completely revamped talents, and mid exp new spec.

I think they could make it work of it's staggered.

Regardless if it spills into ,12.0 I fully expect all classes to have 4 specs.

Support are dps.specs so there's no way any of the 4 pure DPS classes are gonna have yet ANOTHER DPS spec. It has to be tank or heals.

Plus, bard has potential to be its own class
