I fully believe in 10.3 & 10.3.5 with Iridikron, but I won't get into that again except to say Avaloren can get into Order, Life, and Void stuff. It can get into Thrall, elements, the factions, Nightsquall's fleet, Scarlets, Naga, etc. It doesn't really need Iridikron at all, imo. The setting has lots of potential already.

Another option for the 2024 Roadmap could be: 10.2.5, 10.2.7, prepatch, August release, and maybe just a 5th blurb showing "Fall" for the first raid tier. That could work.

Maybe she just uses the Moon as a conduit for her power? She could just embody the lunar aspects of life, hence why she uses planetary moons such as the White Lady a lot.

As for the Blue Child? Well, assuming the name is to be taken literally, I imagine Elune has some Owl or Fawn by her side at all times, and she treats said pet like an actual child of hers, either because she made it herself, or she adopted it, etc.

We can be pretty sure she's not cooped up in Azeroth's moon, as she has her attention cast far wider and not at all limited to Azeroth. Of the Night Warriors we met in the Shadowlands, only Tyrande was Azerothian.

I mostly agree, yeah. I've obviously got no basis for this so it's speculation / what I'd like to happen but it goes like this: They don't want to talk about 10.3 until the expansion has been revealed because it's going to give away where the story is going. The only difference in opinion I have though is that it's not going to be Iridikron. I can see 10.3 being Odyn / perhaps even Tyr (but in a Trial to see if we are ready sort of way).

I've also mentioned the sword in Silithus a couple of times and I could see that also being a lead-up raid or something for the new expansion. Sword gets removed, there's something beneath it, we need to fight them back but I feel like that's a bit more of a disjointed story point.

If not these options, then I'd vote for a random Tiamat out of nowhere, kinda like Argus the Unmaker came out of nowhere in Legion. Most expansions have had a pretty sufficiently "epic" final boss, and Fyrakk is cool but he isn't really that.

No, I mean Blizzard might stretch a potentially thinner Roadmap for next year by showing both the expansion release and the first raid tier on there. I don't think this option is very likely, though.

I'm still surprised no one batted an eye when Thrall regained his Shaman powers out of nowhere in Shadowlands. Like I literally still can't find any lore explanation for it, and guess it just 'happens'.

The reason he lost his powers was his self doubt, it was never an outter thing stopping him, it was his self doubt, and with his time away he worked through his problems, and regained atleast some of his powers.

Well he never lost them in the first place he claims the elements don't like his actions after WoD but he clearly uses the powers in the broken shore intro to begin with so it was already contradicted in the expansion that introduced him being emo.

That is because in the questline it is revealed the elements were fine with what he did, it was his self doubt blocking him, not the elements.

The real question would be what elements responded to his call there. Then again, player Shamans have the same issue.

It seems the entire point of the Roadmap format was to avoid a content drought. I've said this before but if the next expansion comes out in August, sure. But I think they'll be playing up the November Anniversary in relation to the new release date.

The biggest reason I'm expecting an entirely new raid tier is because Shadowlands had 31 raid encounters, but Dragonflight including the Emerald Dream only has had 26. Shadowlands had Covid to deal with, so what's the excuse that Dragonflight ultimately has significantly less raid content?

IMO Shadowlands raids were all like 2-3 bosses too long. Except Nathria. I am perfectly content with the content we will end with for raids.

I mean, I do expect a fated style thing. Which was really, really fun.

Summer release is possible, honestly. But hard to say until we see how far along the expansion is, what's planned, etc.

Since its a manuscript, not a regular mount, and also a recolor, that's not a great precedent.

And we don't have "buy past pvp sets" we're only getting "buy s1 & s2's open world pvp sets" you still can't buy the honor or conquest pvp sets for s1 or 2 in 10.2

We didn't even get that for SL until Dragonflight was out. Like 10.0.7 I think even.

It's time travel story with a master time manipulator, so death is easily hand waved.

My head cannon guess is that she only became so powerful with time magic because she got the discs. Maybe it has a way to view and understand time magic, and her getting it gave her the knowledge needed to become as powerful as she became. As far as how she got it? Infinite dragon flight shenanigans. Give a mortal a way to understand the time ways and let them cook up their own ways to disrupt the timeline.

Dragonflight launched quicker than anyone anticipated. Until it came out many people consistently said it wouldn't launch as intended. But it did.

I think we might be pleasantly surprised.

They have to keep their monthly active user count up esp with d4's users dropping like 98% or some crazy amount.

As Marlamin explained, Squally and the CE mount are both under the same encryption key, along with the race achievements and "the Storm Rider" title. They are all linked in the sense they are encrypted together, will unencrypt together, and are already in the game in 10.1.7, and so are ready to be unencrypted with Blizzcon before 10.2 comes out. You may refuse to believe they are all part of the same content "package", but they are all encrypted together, and in the game already just waiting for Blizz to flip the switch. They aren't "for 11.0", but they are for the next expac's CE.
