I seriously don't think you guys grasp why you're asking for.

I didn't say I need this in single expansion. I don't even care if it would be full Kalimdor/EK or just part of it, as long as it's big/detailed as Dragon Isles.

And as you said, it's not needed ASAP, so Blizzard could even cook it longer to really make it impressive.

By 'leakers', last few leak seasons Tinker was commonly mentioned.

People argue there isn't enough interest in the theme/class concept, I'd argue, if Blizzard can release Monk and continue to support it, they can do anything.

There's simply been a lot of auspicious additions to the game that would make for needed foundations/frameworks for the inclusion of a crafter/creator class.

I still think additional specs for certain classes is less work for blizz and also would appeal to more people; you could add a gladiator spec for warrior rather easily, just tweak the protection tree to work as a DPS tree - and you'd have a massive amount of warriors who were happy. More often than not people either don't bother with a new class or never play it much past capping one, unless they're objectively overpowered

A proper revamp; every zone would need the arathi treatment; you'd need to fix azuremyst and eversong to work seamlessly with the rest of EK (basically remaking from scratch as they exist in outlands and not azeroth)

With the new loading screen tech I am honestly not even sure they would need to fix that anymore. Just put a big ass storm between the zones and when you reach the otherside wow your in Ghostlands.

Yeah and most of the Azeroth zones are a fraction the size of typical expansion zones - a zone from DF or SL is the size of 3 or 4 azeroth zones, plus no one is saying this has to all be done in one patch

I mean like Exiles Reach and the Gorian Empire from Dreanor.
As for castles and the like, different architecture and thematics.

Tiny zones. You'd have to merge 3 or 4 of them together to be a modern sized zone in most cases.

Normally wouldn't post a dev social media post but this one is explicitly indicating in black and white that something interesting will be in the next PTR build.

Based on their role, assuming something systems-y - readding the dynamic flight toggle perhaps? Or something entirely unexpected.

So...you want Diremaul, but with Ogre architecture and a Human touch to it.

Diremaul was mostly demons, Satyr (but still heavily legion) and it never really touches on Fae. Even withthe Ancient and Treants. Even without those, if you go with feel, it's a much more Mage/Scholarly feel. You have the hidden library of knowledge, you have the feel of an ancient city that has crumbled into disrepair.

But ultimately, it's not really close to anything I put down?

Some zones are very easy to merge, like most of upper EK into Lordaeron. It may seem like a big job but it’s not like they need to do both continents in one expansion. They have even more time to push it out in parts as patches.

Honestly, my dream expansion path/plans is that they should do an update of each continent, one at a time. But like, don't just end at EK and Kalimdor. WotLK should be updated at this point. So, really, should MoP. I think Broken Isles could be left out because it's recent enough. I wouldn't mind a new expansion set in Outland either, if it's done properly, but I think that would be kinda messy.

Looks like he worked on character customization stuff for DF, if he is still on that it might be druid form testing becoming available as they were half-implemented last build. Guess we'll find out in the upcoming week!

If they intend to implement regular flight into DF during 10.2 which they have confirmed is happening, that is most likely going to be where we first see it.

I namely mean architecture wise. I know the aesthetics were completely different overall.

This is a bit of a nitpick, I know.

But Dire Maul is more Greek, like most Night Elven stuff. I know people tend to associate the Kaldorei with Japanese, Korean and Norse, but as a whole they tend to be pretty Mediterranean.

Roman tends to have sweeping domes, giant arch's. Big on circular stuff. Also, Diremaul is actually built for use. It's a big city, but nothing really in the city screams "I'm big for the sake of big".

Roman Empire though? Their all about "let's make stuff big because it can be big".

Ok but like....not a fan of Avaloren just being Arthurian Legend bait, but totally a fan of Anduin having complete amnesia and thinking he is someone else. Nice counter to his character in SL.
