Its highly possible its new music...but honestly its more likely it is just remixed WOTLK theme to match up with tracks for each game.

I feel like 99% certain that this isn't new music. Sounds like something I've heard a hundred times before, whether it's in BlizzCon videos, that Overwatch Blizzard World map, or elsewhere. Can't put my finger on it right now though.

Also, there's nothing to read into Blizzcon's WoW goodies.
The mount and banner are snow/ice/frost theme, since it's... Blizzard. Just like Big Blizzard Bear was a polar bear. Don't get too wild on that please

Ysergle is probably the only thing worth reading into and even then it could just be written off as being related to 10.2 rather than 11.0. Agreed the rest is just generally Blizz-themed stuff and pretty irrelevant to speculation.

Neither of these were expected in the BlizzCon Collection, so all good.

I'm leaning towards it being part of all (or some of) the pre-order editions based on what it's encrypted with.

Just noticed - the fact the blizzcon mount isnt a dragon riding mount is such a miss opportunity. If the next xpack continues dynamic flying when will I use this mount? It would have been epic to gotten a blizzcon dragon saddle!!

Dragonriding didn't exist when this mount was initially added so I'm not too surprised there. I'm expecting they'll add dynamic/advanced flying capable animations to existing mounts at some point in the future, hopefully this one is included.

oh snap - how old is this mount then? I guess it was left over from the canceled 2022 blizzcon? Which is probably why we are getting a pet + mount.

9.2 PTR, so not too old but still pre-Dragonriding.

No one else said anything but I laughed pretty hard at this. Can’t believe the infallible one was wrong….

OT: this bundle sucks. I buy probably like 70% of what they put out as promotional mounts and packs etc. but this one stinks. The mount is nowhere near worth that, it’s not that exciting. Ysergl is a beaut and I WANT HER! But no way I’ll be shelling out that much money for her and some other crappy crap.

I don’t play Diablo anymore but the lapisvein horse actually does look pretty dope.

I will say although I think elemental themes are strong, I don’t think this mount being an elemental has anything to do with what’s going on in the game or story or what’s coming next - it’s just a Blizzard for Blizzard. Same as Snowstorm last time. But I could def be wrong considering there’s an icy world breaker coming too.

I think the bundle is definitely worth it in monetary value if you play 2 or more of the games there's rewards for, but not if you e.g. just play WoW.

To be fair to him, he eventually dropped the claim that the Blizzcon elemental was the Stormrider in favour of the theory that the frost elemental mount was an obvious hint that the Stormrider would be a matching wind elemental. Though when someone else much later brought up his theory that the frost mount was the Stormrider he didn't correct them with his new theory, so yeah.
