Not really no.

Only that we’ve got a mount (likely a gryphon) for preorder called the “algarian stormrider”.

Hopefully we get something juicy soon, but even DF took until the last day before it was leaked so I'm not expecting much until the week preceding BlizzCon.

I'm not 100% sure what the argument is here, but to clarify: demon/fel fatigue was very much an often-stated issue during Legion and especially after Tanaan, Legion was my favorite expansion and me saying this doesn't contradict that, and I agree that aesthetic fatigue /can/ sink player perception but note that it's /not/ the only signifier.

I disagree with others broadly on the point that DF is an elemental expansion. DF is a dragon expansion, most of whom tend to use elemental magic (but not all, e.g., everything having to do with bronze dragons and much of the content around blue dragons, there are other exceptions). But I could see how the persistence of secondary elemental themes in DF into the potential main story of a following expansion could have the same effect as Tanaan/Broken Shore pre patch -> Legion.

If I remember correctly, the demonic fatigue didn't begin to set in until the mid point of 7.3 when Argus' terrain alongside consistently fighting demons began to take a toll.

Anyway, my point is that despite demon fatique, people still seemed to really enjoy the expansion. I do agree with you that Blizzard will have to do something interesting to keep interest post dragonflight. I do believe than an underground expansion could fit the bill in that regard since it's something we've never experienced before, and can contain an elemental theme.

I also think it's no coincidence that Iridikron is getting primed to be an ongoing villain in the next expansion, and he just happens to be earth-based.

3. Datamined Algarian Stormrider as the heroic edition pre-order mount with Storm Rider achievements.
4. Khaz Algar (from the Algarian Stormrider) being an area inside a fissure where Earthen act like standard Dwarves.

An underground-themed expansion has potential as long as there's some variety in aesthetics. I feel like Zaralek Caverns was kind of dull visually.

But a massive subterranean Dwarven/Titan city? Or Undermine? Sign me up.

Uh we did exactly that in 6.2 and spent an entire year fighting demons until Legion's release when we fought even more demons. And again, Legion is typically considered one of WoW's top expansions.

I doubt us going into an elemental expansion after DF would be a similar problem unless we're fighting more primal incarnates, which is doubtful.

That's not really a good argument; no one is saying Legion is bad - we're saying that even an expansion as good as legion has flaws and demon/green fatigue absolutely was one of them

That's also not the most important point; the legion is the most iconic enemy in WoW, so people will tolerate a lot of demons - the primal elementalists are just discount twilight's hammer - elementals already aren't the most exciting enemies; and we've had two expansions that are very elemental focused - another one right after DF would, in my opinion, be extremely disappointing narratively

this just reminded me of the time BfA alpha files were downloadable before even the alpha started (technically it was in friends and family alpha) by tricking bnet that you have access and download the files. I had a channel deleted from youtube because I posted various zone and dungeon explorations and got like 17 copyright strikes from Blizzard.
