Most of them add a raid and that's it. No new zone and barely any content.
That's still a raid we are missing out on. While it might not be the sole defining feature of endgame anymore, it's still a tentpole feature that WoW does best among MMOs.

(At least thats' the belief because the resources have to have gone somewhere.)

This expansion really was the most blatant at copy & paste development with their production pipeline so far with no divertion or surprises beyond the fact the Game Files for 10.2 being similar to 9.2 indicating its time to "Cut & Run guys, come on defend this again in a normal expansion where the main point is for us to run a positive PR Campaign that builds back the broken trust and reputation. Oh wait.".

Look, I get that there will be apologists for billion dollar companies to cut it down to just 1 patch for $50 + subscription and with Trading Post Premium (BlackCell WoW Edition) but come on, this is just a bit ridiculous ain't it?
And I don't get this take?

Yeah, I enjoy exciting game changing systems, but that was the main criticism of the last few expansion, and of course Blizzard is gonna go more conservative.
Would I like more than "Another invasion mechanic" for .5/.7 features? Of course.

Would I say that Dragonflight is not worth its money? Absolutely not lmao.

I'm not 100% sold on this being fake. No one would have a new species of Ogre-like creatures on a desert plateau on their radar before this. It feels as left field as Dracthyr did to me.

All the feature development in previous expansion was there because there was a borrowed power system i.e. Heart of Azeroth/Artifacts/Covenants/Legendary items in SL.

The community wanted nothing of the sort, so there we go.

That just means the leaker has some imagination. Creativity isn't the sole property of real leaks. Fake leaks can make up stuff as well.

Doesn't mean they should cut an entire raid tier because you guys will defend them to the ends of the earth to reduce value for consumers.

Also its not like its just a raid tier we're talking about here, it would be additional content on top of that.

Each expansion's website is historically uniquely designed from the ground up:

    Spoiler:

This one is a near 1:1 copy of Dragonflight's website's layout with each individual element changed slightly.

Also, because Blizzard's web design team are professionals, background images aren't just slapped on the background, they're vignetted or hit with a gradient, or nudged down in contrast and saturation so that the background naturally fades into the background and it's easier to focus on and read foreground stuff. You don't want the viewer's eyes to be pulled from the actual important stuff to random rivers in the BG. If nothing else, there should be a blurred drop shadow under the text for basic readability.

They foreshadowed her turning against Tyr, not necessarily getting corrupted. As things are, it seems a lot more plausible for him to try to force something on the dragons (maybe he won't approve of Vyranoth) leading to Alextrasza rejecting him for a good reason.

You can also tell its fake because of the logo on the top of the page. Blizzards current web design Is to change that logo for the expansion.

Wrath expansion page is blue. Dragonflights is silver.

On the patch has the original color one

I can't wait for the actual leak of a low res still from the reveal cinematic being ripped apart because the 5 pixels of hand you can barely make out are definitely AI hands.

The perspective is off. This was a doctored image for sure.

I think its pretty clear that the website leak is fake based on the fact that the image literally shows them celebrating that its on mobile as if that added credibility to the leak.

Its just too much effort and even if the internal website layout is just using the Dragonflight template prior to the addition of the custom styling, that is just pretty doubtful.

What perspective do you mean? For these kinds of fakes people just create an actual site or at least put one together in photoshop (more likely because who uses fullscreen browser on a laptop?) and then photograph their device with that on screen.

Yeah that was one that got me as well.
Maybe they should have had a bunch of pages of concept art next to the laptop, or have a second screen with the name of the expansion to really hammer home how real it is.

I don’t know why there needs to be a sentiment of “haha you guys believe this, it’s so stupid”.

It’s something to discuss and the overall design of those Dwarves looks cool. If we get something similar to that in game then happy days.

They're basically just earthen wearing armor, though.
