Glory to the Titans.
The thing is though that Illidan and the Burning Legion’s story ended in Legion. Sylvanas, Uther, Arthas, and the Scourge’s stories effectively ended in Shadowlands.
Now we have Dragonflight which is directly addressing events we first experienced in Cataclysm, including the dragons getting their aspect powers returned, the Bronze Dragonflight dealing with Murazond, and black dragons actually having a leader who isn’t crazy.
So while you may not believe that Blizzard is doing it, the evidence certainly appears to be pointing in that direction.
A large part of Warcraft's storytelling strength comes from it's diversity of cultures.
This is my please: not to westernize or modernize every single playable race and culture in Warcraft.

I think 10.2 books or texts indicate that it wasn't the Titans who created the Emerald Dream, but that it has always been there already, they just tried to "order" it, when they discovered it...
In that case the Emerald Dream probably is the "Life"-equivalent of the Shadowlands, created by the First Ones or such. Presumably gaining it's "anima" whenever a creature is born in the Azeroth (or other planets) dimension.

Do we have any indication on how the Titans may feel about Amirdrassil? The book for Elun'ahir lets us know Aman'thul wasn't much a fan of a world tree direct from Elune, so would a second one bring about such strong opinions again?
