It's probably best to be "open" to many ideas for 11.0 as opposed to obsessing over a single idea (only to be disappointed when you're wrong).

While I agree with you, that statement surely soon will explode. As not counting Saurfang or Thrall to be orc content, or Voljin as Darkspear one.
Hell, someone really counting Illidan as NE one, heh.
Also we had on MoP little scenario about dwarfs deals with trolls in near IF btw

In the HFC ending cinematic, Khadgar basically looks directly into the camera & says "Legion is the next expansion"
So all we know is some character that appears in DF will be relevant in 11.0, just like Sylvanas in Shadowlands. So whatever you can glean from that is your own business. If they're adding a new region to include that, wouldn't that be the setting of the new expansion, rather than adding an entirely new, but unrelated, location? Secret Underground region under the Eastern Kingdoms would be infinitely more interesting to everyone on Azeroth more than the moon or "The backside of Azeroth" that may or may not exist.Yes, but we were talking about how that would predict what 11.0 would be about: Which you couldn't have. You could easily do that at the end of WoD, but not any other expansion. Nothing about Sylvanas going sicko mode foreshadowed anything in Shadowlands. Pun unintended. Shadowlands was probably their most out-of-pocket expansion ever.

I mean we already know there is stuff under Tirisfal. We have seen it in Legion. Also technically Undercity is also under Tirisfal. So yeah more stuff under EK wouldn't be all that surprising.
Wanna know what I want to see there? A secret tunnel system that can smuggle people in and out of Gilneas. I'm 100% stuff like that exists.
might be a weird coincidence with the eclipse leak, but also

Also several characters referencing Sylvanas getting new powers from her “master” after the Saurfang mak’gora. We all knew Sylvanas was working with some sort of death entity prior to SL announcement. It’s just that most of us thought it was going to be Mueh’zela and not The Jailer.
Saying Shadowlands came out of left field is a bit daft. It was the popular consensus with what was coming next. Several characters and quest lines within BfA referenced the Shadowlands and some malevolent figure lurking there. Lich King, Odyn, Bwonsamdi, Vol’jin etc all referenced Zovaal in some vague form.

Sylvanas working for some powerful evil entity was set up in the beginning of Legion when "voices" told Vol'jin to make Sylvanas warchief.
Things got much clearer as early as 7.3.5. Compare Ogmot's Dream Journal and the motivations of Sylvanas the devs were giving at the time. Over the course of BfA, it became clear enough that the fake Shadowlands leaks got a lot of the themes right as of 8.2.
What it seems really no one was expecting was that 8.3 would completely wrap up N'Zoth and the Old Gods, so even now people think we haven't seen the last of N'Zoth.
omg plz never make me go underwater again like that ;_;
Nazjatar was excellent due to draining the water out - really loved that
also the wpvp events were really well done there - wish theyd do more of that. always got into some big fights (ok 90% of the time people would go to a shard where the other faction wasn't present .. but when pvp broke out o lord)

Try, its's easy. Let's see
TBc, we go to the Orc homeworld hoping to stop Illidan, who is awol for most of the expansion, but we spend most of it following the orcs around and the touching reunification of Thrall with his family. We see all the famous historical sites of the orcs and thier origins. Sure Blood elves and Draenei are new, band blood elves have a plot line too, but it's mainly about orcs.
WotLK is about the Lich king and taking down ARthas, - i can't say it's about orcs, but they show up heavily as the questing and story at this stage is done per faction basis, and the orcs dominate the horde side of it.
Cata - we take on Deathwing, but before we do that, Garrosh is conquering Kalimdor (so orcs dominate that entire contiennt as we see the goblins roped in to help), and off course in EK, well Sylvannas can't do things by herself at first, which is why we get the ors, but then they leave and she does just fine. We go to Nordrassil to help Thrall and rescue him as he finds his new powers, tthen help him and the dragon aspects stop Deathwing. Shoudl we say it's about Deathwing, Shaman and Thrall? oh wait most of the shaman or orcs anyway, and Thrall's a shaman, well, Orcs are all over this, certainly moreso than night elves in BFA, Shadowlands and DF COMBINED.
The Pandrai comes, it's all about Garrosh again, while it should be about Pandaria, and yes a lot of it is set there, the main storyline is Garrosh, Garrosh, Garrosh, and his mighty orc army at the end that forces us to have to topple him after he continues to commit crimes throughout the questing zone. Bad bad Garrosh
then WoD - he escapes judgement for his crimes and we follow him to AU Draenor, which again is all about orcs, orcs orcs, and a retelling of the orcish history. at least MoP we could say pandas, and Cata we could say Deathwing, even though the protagnoinsts and main weight of the story is following the adventures of orcs, but Wod, well, that was ORC bonanza.
Off course, i've had to do a lot of stretching and mental gymnastics to say these really were about orcs to support my claim that we had a lot more about orcs in each of these expansions than we've had about night elves in the last 3.. especially when you consider twhat the main story is about, and who the main characters involved are. Tyrande cameos in BFA and SL do not qualify, nor do the short cameos in DF. having 1 raid in 8.2 and 1 battlefront in BFA doesn't make it about night elves.. it was actually about our gals Sylvanas and JAina, even though N'Zoth, Azshara and the big bad opposite factions were the main enemies there.
