    Still don't believe it.

Yeah try saying that in the week leading up to the con. There is always something coming through the cracks. Every single time.

Honestly I can't remember much of the discussion surrounding the Dracthyr leak. I vaguely remember there being confusion around someone mistranslating it to Drek'thar somehow, which made it seem sillier than it probably would have been.

I remember feeling physically nauseous when it dawned on me that they were real. I didn't want those... things... in the game. I still don't.

They were vague/low quality, but they were not phone pictures or at the weird classical leak angle.

Scaleface said that the new class is named after a Mage spell, and that the new race name is similar to Drek'thar.

Something always leaks. It's actually weird that not more details leak when you consider all the outside labour needed for things like posters and merchandise that needs premade for Blizzcon.

    right

before BFA exp we had this pre-blizzcon streams - with crates of Tel'Abim bananas - details matter
befofre SL - blue eyes lich king - 'no fakin way' it was real etc

ok, assuming the Carrack thing is semi-true. Could an Algarian Stormrider be a name of a ship? We all assumed it was a flying mount. But would a ship work? Riding the Storm with sails on the sea?

Which, in hindsight, was a pretty clever way to leak it. No one could figure out that Dracthyr/Drek'Thar puzzle. I think it was the metadata on the image that gave it away in the end?

We have flying ship mounts in WoW, so that's still on the table regardless.

Hey, dude! Nobody is trying to be rude, many people enjoy to see some AI creation, but there's a dedicated thread for that, and that has been pointed out to you over a few pages. It didn't require an intervention from mod, really. There are some rules you should comply with to keep this thread as clean as possible.
No need to be defensive and nasty. Just respect the rules.

well, yeah, true. But assuming the Nightsquall sailing westward things. And the next expansion not having "pirates". Ships, was never of the tables.. right?

I believed the lich king one immediately when I saw it. Because the mountains in the background had that certain style to it.
The Tel'abim one was a fake.

If it's a ship it could be a mobile base of operations, possibly customisable, and there are some different ships in game and that one is limited to preorder. You sail between zones like Argus and the Vindicaar. Don't think that's the case, just an example possibility.

Yeah, nothing is off the table when it comes encrypted stuff we don't have any context for. People are free to assume it to be a Gryphon or an actual boat.

Or a Gryphon that turns into a boat, and it's a mechagnome expansion.
