The Dwarven aesthetic is a lot more grand, epic, and just outright pleasing on the eyes than the industrial pollution of the Goblins.

    Thank you.

Doesn't sound too bad (as long as the affixes are fun).

All (expansion) raids are scaled up, put on a weekly rotation and they add an affix to it.

Again, this is your opinion. Going by the numbers more players prefer the industrial pollution of the Goblins to the Dwarven aesthetic you speak of.

What competition? Like actually within the MMO genre nothing comes close. Even XIV at the peak of it's circlejerk at the end of ShB start of EW had a fraction of the subs WoW had. Every other MMO has its dedicated playerbase that thinks every other MMO is trash by comparison.

WoW, and to a lesser extent XIV, are the only MMOs where a drought means nothing because people will show back up instead of just quitting.

No, people just like having the most broken racial for prog raiding.

Goblin architecture and its race aesthetic isn’t present when you play the class lmao. If you’re playing a Goblin Shaman you aren’t running around with an industrial rocket and hut strapped to your back whilst dark greens and greys surround your character like polluted air. Don’t be so blatantly obtuse.

Zones such as Dun Morogh, Loch Modan, Grizzly Hills etc are a lot more favoured than current Azshara, Kezan etc.

Also, if you believe those numbers for Goblin players isn’t tied to racials then you are beyond hope in this argument.

I look forward to speculating with everyone after BlizzCon.

I personally play with a lot of people who love goblins and gnomes and their fun goofy eccentric presence, as well as their ingenuity and unique city building. A lot of people I know enjoy these things present in wow. I recently played the Goblin starting zone again and I’m not even on a high pop server and there was a generous handful of players playing there. Every day I log on and I see a bunch of Gobbos wobbling around. Your opinion that people don’t like them or their aesthetic should not be framed as accepted fact.

You are my favorite poster. You come in once every few patches and just talk about looking forward to whats next. So positive.

I wish we could have more speculation in the speculation thread instead of a completely pointless back-and-forth argument of something entirely subjective. I don't know how you guys have the energy to keep this up. If it were me, I would just agree to disagree and move on.

Nothing has been announced but everything is pointing at 10.2 being the last big patch of DF. And I really really hope that they are messing with us and we get a 10.3. In such a case I have little doubt that DF would be the best WoW expansion ever.

And nobody is losing their minds here. We are just deeply concerned, at least in my case, for my favourite game and universe. I just want good things for WoW ¡¡ I will play 11.0 no matter what (probably), but WoW needs big stuff and big changes or its inevitable death might come sooner than expected. I do not want that ¡¡

Cutting one patch of DF for whatever reasons is just bad policy. DF has more than enough story to tell to have a 10.3. Making your expansions only last until the X.2.7 patch from now on is just bad policy. How they would even sell that? ''Remember when you paid less for more content? Now you will pay more expensive expansions for even less content ¡¡ We just want you to pay the box price more often ¡¡''
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

    If you're a Goblin Shaman with the heritage armor, you certainly are;

Why can't a Goblin player enjoy both the aesthetic of the race as well as the racials (which are also related to the aesthetics of the race)?

You shouldn’t put words into others mouths. I didn’t say that no one liked them. I said that the aesthetic is miserable(it is) and that Dwarven aesthetics such as alpine mountains, snowy valleys, etc are lot more pleasing on the eyes.

We got like 500 pages in a month. There has been a crap-ton of speculation here.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Well sure, but if Blizzard believed as you do that the majority of Goblin players hate the aesthetic, why would they make a sought after armor set with that supposedly hated aesthetic?

The point is this; Just because YOU don't like the aesthetic doesn't mean that most players don't like the aesthetic. Give them a chance to experience it and if they don't like it, Blizzard would never do it again. Undermine is easily one of the last major locations in WoW lore we've never experienced. Whether we like it or not, it's on the docket.

    Maybe even in 11.0.

Most of the time when I look in here, I see the same two or three people arguing back-and-forth about the same thing they were arguing about 6 hours ago.

You’re on here commenting on someone’s marriage and how unfulfilling it must be, there js no situation where you are justified.
