We've had 10 WoW box arts and none of them were purple yet. It's due.

Purple logos on the web leak? are these and the stormbreaker one linked?

We don't know, there's no visible connection to any of the encrypted mounts or pets. It could be but also could be not.

What if Squally & Fryn are the new charity pets? One for each, classic and retail, just like Sunny & Flurky. Like one unlock at Blizzcon after the opening ceremony is over?

There was a quest in Dragonflight called Stormbreaker.

There's no real way that's the name.

talking to myself - it does make a lot of sense that with WoWs 10th expansion they tossed the logo format into the trash and started over. Now we could see every xpack from here on out have a completely different frame. not sure if thats the correct move ,but DF didn't have a globe instead just a gem(basically those beacons).

na we all agree that one is probably fake due to a lot of web ui spacing issues + the hands are to mushed. Plus someone did a study and showed this is too close to the DF webpage. Each xpack has a completely new one built from scratch.

I think for webpages like this they use the white outline - can't find one right now but swear I seen it used.

Probably not, Squally and Fyrn are both retail/mainline pets, they are not available in Classic. Squally would also be forced to release with all the other content under the same encryption key including the Algarian Stormrider achievement (and its likely related customizable dragonriding mount), the dragon races (+ achievements), character boost, store assets, etc.

Fyrn (and possibly its mount relative?) could be a charity thing for all I know, which is extremely little. There was also another pet added in 10.2 I believe that we know nothing about yet, so that could be a future charity pet as well.

Scaleface is a legend, certainly was for Dragonflight. But that does offer a good opportunity to mess with us for the sake of amusement. So... we'll see. I doubt how much information even Scaleface could have this far out from BlizzCon.

Important to note that the guy who leaked WoD said SL was fake.

Yeah that was definitely the biggest one but that one at least made sense to point out. The elbow/wrist thing was just plain stupid.

I remember those dracthyr pictures. People were finding spots on the model and saying they were copy/pasted from another model and that was "proof" it was fake. And that blurry still of Koranos in front of Alexstrasza, I think there were more people who thought it was fake than real. Granted, both of those dropped much closer to the expansion announcement than we currently are... but anything can happen. I tend to consider something fake until there is good reason to believe it could be real, but I also don't outright dismiss potential leaks as definitely fake for trivial reasons. And logos? I think there were people who didn't believe the Dragonflight logo was real when it first leaked, either. Heh.

Never forget dracthyr nipples proving it was something from a scalie game, from people who don't know where nipples go because they looked nothing like nipples, were asymmetrically placed, and in a bizarre location for nipples anyway.

I hope Stormbreaker is real because that logo is gorgeous. It also seems unlikely that a fake leaker would make a logo that's such a departure from previous expansions, but that's not exactly a strong argument.

Regarding the subtitle width etc., I think it's definitely a frame from an animation given the shine on the R in World. If it's fake, great job to the artist who made it.
