It's a well-known story that expansion plots continue like this: TBC - WoD - Legion / WotLK - BfA - Shadowlands / Cataclysm - Dragonflights - Next expansion, so I'm thinking of reversing that. We'll tackle Order, Life, and Light one by one, and we'll finish them off properly again, so WoW will continue for another 20 years.
The Burning Legion was written as antagonists we need to fight because they're an army of demons bent on killing everyone, not because they're simply one of six interchangeably dominating forces that needs to be contained. Trying to make different flavors of the Legion arc by shoehorning every cosmic force into the same mold hasn't been working, which is probably why they brought Metzen back.

If anything, Norzdomu or Vyranoth have a likely chance of dying.

And as for Ysera, we pretty much knew that her getting brought back in DF was just a temporary visit so that her daughter could take up the mantle.

And even then they rarely throw death flags at big pivotal characters unless it was to spark another conflict (like how there were a bunch of important figures that died in the bombing of Theramore).
Her relationship with Vyranoth is hinting at "this time I'll do better"
She has fulfilled her role of uniting the flights again

These point towards her either getting betrayed or her stepping up in a moment to sacrifice herself

There's also a weird line about 6 aspects datamined I'm wondering if Vyranoth takes up a new aspect role

I mean hot take, just make the Legion again. Yeah, they're leaderless because we killed a bunch of eredar and Sargeras is in baby jail, but are we truly to believe that nobody's left to fill the power vacuum?

    Isn't DF 3 years after SL's end?

It's Denathrius but he's green now.

It's also worth noting that the Burning Legion was itself corrupted by the forces of Order. I.E. Sargeras was applying Order to the demons. We have plenty of threats from the realm of disorder that could happen, up to and including it's original leaders.

Well Vyranoth is going to get glowing eyes like the rest of them according to one datamining in Wowhead.
    https://www.wowhead.com/news/empower...ch-10-2-335137

And if even Alexstraza dies, we barely know anyone to take up the role as Aspect of the Red Dragonflight aside from Majordomo Selistra whom we haven't seen since the Waking Shore story.

UNLESS it’s a race/class they’ve just happened to be working on for a while and just needed the right expansion to introduce. (I’d see this being the case for something like Naga tbh)
That's where my expectations are as well. No new class/race and maybe a couple new specs. I'm hoping I'm wrong and they try to swing for the fences with this expansion and go big. The 20th anniversary is coming up and it'd be great if they made some fan favorite races playable, like Naga for Alliance and Ogres for the Horde.

Wrathion is the product of experimentation from the red flight and there's also Vyranoth

For all we know the oathstone can change the color of the dragon

Okay but what if Warcraft equivalent of Ragnarök where Iridikron hunts down Titan Keepers God of War style, ending with Odyn's death(lines up with the title Stormbreak, with him kinda having storm powers and connection to storm dragons) which calls the attention of the Titans.

In any case, I kinda wish the next expansion name will have more than one word again. Not that it matters nor would I care too much but also I miss the format of longer titles that they've used since the RTS games.

Given that some keepers have already been killed (Tyr, Ra, Archaedas, Loken), and Yogg-Saron corrupted/deceived almost all of them for millenia, I don't think the Titans care that much about them.

The titans were either imprisoned or in some form of hibernation when that happened tbh. And now they are occupied with keeping Sargeras under control.

Has anyone read the article that WoWhead posted a short while ago? The 10.2 quest line? Going to put this in spoilers because I don't want to ruin anything for anyone, even if they are in a prediction thread. This quest line and this 'loa of change' talk about it's first devotees and Aviana talks about how the creature left the emerald dream and then something let it return. Since it's a loa, I'm expecting the first devotees were most likely old trolls. Shadow Trolls, dark Trolls, before they were elves etc, etc? Does anyone else think that this is a story thread for them to pick up later? I remember a leak mentioning Trolls on Avaloren, which is definitely a safe guess for someone wanting to add some depth to the story but I think it's a neat enough idea. This loa of change left the dream, the cylce, spent time elsewhere and now it's back.

One of the worst things they can do is have any of those 2 as leaders of the Red DF. Not a chance.

They'll turn the Red Dragonflight into a council as well.

The person who made the Stormbreak AI image already admitted it was fake. Why do people still get hung up on leaks even after they get debunked? I still see the same shit with Voidstorm too.

One of the „eclipse“ leaks had half troll elves with a moon loa. Perhaps that leak?
