At least Teriz likes the game.
I hate WoW so much I said a few pages ago I loved retail WoW;
You can't criticize something you love without being called a pure hater here, what backwards logic...
I have also not bashed anyone for enjoying WoW, Why the F are you people putting words into my mouth, if something I have said has deeply hurt you I apologise but I have not criticized you for enjoying the game at all, I have only said I would not like certain thing to happen and it would stop me from playing.
#Reported for trolling because you are literally making assumptions without reading posts.
Also, I will log off now because some of you are losing it here and it's seriously showing the unhealthy side of this forum.

It’s interesting to see “what direction” players want to see retail go in. I love the speculation on this thread. Looking forward to BlizzCon 2023!
Come on we all love WoW to bits in this forum, but it is natural to talk about our worries about the game. It is clearly a delicate moment for WoW. It is an almost 20 year old game. What it has achieved and what it still manages to achieve is insane, but if Blizzard does not play its cards well with 11.0 its downfall could be swift.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
More focus on cosmetics and various ways to gather them is my hope. More ways to consume old content in new ways also wouldnt hurt.
Timewalking needs to be more in-depth, and preferably incorporate old zones and systems as well as the dungeons and raids.
Ship based expansion might be a bust now that BfA is done, but maybe the backside of Azeroth could be the South Seas expansion I always wanted.

Idk how popular that would be, but if the next expansion puts focus on the World Soul, it'd be good if Azeroth gets to actually interact with us rather than through Magni.
They don't have to give her a full fledged personality, or model, or set voice actor, but she's supposed to be a character we are meant to feel protective of but because the only interaction we get with her is through Magni, she feels completely detached and non-existent.
Just some distorted words and whispers like with Argus would be enough.
Give me something to latch on to.

Why? New Expansion announcements are always more hype than patch reveals. Most normies buy the Expansion, play the initial and maybe last patch and that's it. And there is literally no reason to drag the Expansion out with another raid now that we have the chill fated system anyways.
Undermine is a massive port/trade city, so it is likely surrounded by an underground sea that leads to the ocean. In addition, I could see how it would be possible to have openings in Undermine’s ceiling that allows air travel in an out of the cavern, so it’s entirely possible that portions of the sky are visible from the city.

It's always more exciting with a new expansion, but that doesnt override everything about the new patch. People would still be expecting 10.3 if only on the basis that only failed expansions end with two major patches.
Blizzard could soothe those worries if they either have a massive 11.0 worth the missing patch, or late summer expansion release. But you would still have those that consider DF failed, and likely the new standard, which also means all future expansions will be failed.

While its appropriate to reminisce about what could have been it is a grand disservice to the most unique landmass, arguably besides maybe Skywall, that WoW has ever seen. Nazjatar is truly a breathtaking place in Retail and honestly, even looking at this map, it was never supposed to be more than a 'speck of dirt'. I, personally, was not a fan of the place and I really was not a big fan of BFA as a whole, but I think it is unfair to say its just a speck of dirt.
Edit: I also love the little ideas you can visualize on that map that were repurposed. The Ulduar Bay becoming Azshara on Retail. The Maelstrom looking much more like a scar on the world. The Tomb of Sargeras location. Kalimdor as a whole being eventually merged with 'Ulduar'. Its a truly interesting piece of art.

Kezan is the port/trade city capital of the Undermine & that's already in the game. Weren't we supposed to assume the Cataclsym made both uninhabitable? Undermine went the way of PompeiiThis is true, but they also would have been so far into developing 11.0 by the time Zaralek came out that it wouldn't have changed anything if they already decided on that setting. But you can do a lot with an Underdark setting. Zaralek was just the most generic of caves.
As you can see i'm of two minds regarding an underground expansion.

Ny'alotha was always speculated to be some place only accessible by sleep as far back as its structured (in a sentence) existence in Legion. What did you think it was besides a lair of the old gods?
Yes BUT Gallywix has been missing for some time by now, I could see him doing some Siegecrafter Blackfuse shit with Azerite and building himself a glittering continent of gold.
