Perhaps, but it could have been so much more. This, what we got, could have been one zone, but parts of Nazjatar could have been "Suramar but underwater". One zone that is mostly ruins and shipwreck is not really the full potential of a concept like Nazjatar. And I'm willing to die on this hill.
The Motherlode dungeon from BfA takes place on Kezan, so that's evidently not the case.
Seeing as Kezan itself appears to be relatively unscathed, it's safe to assume the same would be true of Undermine. The Isle of Kezan, rent asunder by the eruption of Mount Kajaro, is now brimming with Azerite in the aftermath of Sargeras' assault on Azeroth. Seeking to make a fortune and stake his claim to the title of Trade Prince, Mogul Razdunk has focused the Venture Company's efforts on weaponizing Azerite and selling it to the highest bidder.
Yes, I fully agree and this is the main reason of my concerns regarding WoW.
10.2 is just another 10.1. After a month most players will be done with it. And then what? Unless 10.2.5 is truly amazing (an evergreen Brawler's Guild would not be enough, not even close), we will have to wait until November for 11.0. Let us say that it is released in August in a best case scenario. That leaves us with 8 MONTHS¡¡ 8 MONTHS of 10.2. Yes I know that we will have a fated season but who gives a fuck about that, honestly.
I do not understand why they (apparently) killed 10.3. It literally would destroy all the (little-medium) good faith that they have created with DF. I tried to see not having it in a positive way but I just cannot. I feel scammed and it has not happened yet.
I hope that Blizzcon will make me understand because as of now I just see absolute incompetence.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
I mean, Undermind is underground in the bowels of the volacano. It's likely going to have faced some extensive damage as a result of the volcano erupting; not to mention the Azerite spewing forth from the island in recent years - a highly volatile, molten, fiery substance.
"The Undermine, or just Undermine, is the subterranean capital city of the goblins, located in the bowels of Mount Kajaro on the Isle of Kezan in the South Seas. Weaving through the heart of Kezan in a dizzying network of tunnels, vaults, and lava tubes, Undermine epitomizes the goblins' complex, unpredictable mindset."

My Nintendo FC is 2208-5726-4303.By Blizzard Entertainment:
Part of the reason is that Battlegrounds are like ducks.
And forgettable, people (from what I've heard) didn't have fond memories of Borean Tundra... even fewer people did Storm Peaks story, you'd have to go through a lot just to get to that part in the story. Mechagon was a way to try the story again and make it relevant content rather than just a one-off questline... Similar how they brought Xavius and the Nightmare back for players to fully experience.
Like I said, this isn't the first time they've done this story... but it is the first time we've seen it done without the use of magic from the Titans or the Djinn.
Gallywix post-Legion has been impersonated by, at times, a Dreadlord.
The presense of this mortal, non-death related character in Tazavesh is hard to reason, until we consider that what we see in that dungeon is actually the Nathrezim impersonator.
Think about BfA's prologue. Who introduces Sylvanas to Azerite?
In her novel it's revealed that Zovaal procphecied this moment, and it would make total sense for a Nathrezim agent ultimately serving him to carry out the event that instigated The Battle For Azeroth, leading to the empowered Maw.
Why though? I feel like people here are really attached to the numbers on the patch rather than the statistics with the patch. We will have had 3 raid tiers, Most likely a 4th fated tier which is a fantastic idea, 4-5 Mythic+ Seasons, a reasonable amount of things to do. More than WoD less than BFA.
Most of the people playing WoW nowadays are working adults. We don't have endless hours to spend grinding Azerite, working on endless achievements. I think this expansion is fantastic as it is with 10.2, let alone a Fated Tier. The only downside to this entire expansion is the lack of improvements to Queued PvP Content.
Those are fair assumptions to make, but you can just as well assume that that the goblins, who knowingly (and willingly) had decided to build their capital under a volcano, were smart enough to have prepared for the likelihood of a volcanic eruption and had some way of mitigating the brunt of the damage.
Speculation like this is great because either side of the speculation, the realism of a destroyed Undermine, or the hilarity of Goblin's constructing a massive shielding for the entire island would just result in some great story telling and both would have incredible visuals.
They won't spin it like that. The part that is legendary, that everyone will enjoy, myself included, is when they reveal the 2024 Roadmap at Blizzcon on stage. The argument of an 8 month drought falls the hell apart when they present it. Even if the Fated Tier is the same tier, even if the last 2 PvP Seasons are just faction swapped sets and M+ the same dungeons with a new rotation you will have people excited.
Honestly I kind of liked Nazjatar. I only wish it could’ve been more of a city like Suramar was.
It was a unique way to deliver the “underwater” zone without having to deal with the issues of being underwater like Vashj’ir.
Although I personally liked Vashj’ir, I understand the issues it had.
You’re going to have to provide some sources to back up your claims as the general consensus in this thread at least is that Goblins and anything relating to them is shite.
The Goblin parts of any zone in my opinion are always the worst and are a complete eyesore.
Funnily enough, I’m all for seeing Undermine, I genuinely want to. But the aesthetic needs to be wildly different from the current Goblin aesthetic in game which is no more than just pollution. Despite what you are trying to argue, that aesthetic, as already said, is fucking miserable.
For the longest time I really loved Vashj'r for its very strong story however has years have gone on it is really starting to show its age. Honestly pretty much anything that involves content from Cataclysm or before (Even Mists of Pandaria, the flashback quests for the Alliance & Horde where you control the other characters around the Jade Serpent Statue), all of that is aging horrendously thanks to Dragon Riding.
Highly recommend those who do not see the aging the game is having to do the Argent Tournament stuff or check out the Vigilance on Wing's quest. It truly is a sight to behold. It isn't bad, it is just not how the modern game works at all and it is kind of fun to look at.

Sounds cool but I really doubt so many characters and villains specifically will continue to have such a presence in another expansion.
They would make it feel like it's still partially DF instead of new exciting chapter of the story.
Also I don't buy Void Priest and Ambusher rogue.
