It exists/is possible but it takes some effort and I think sites/dataminers might just be giving Blizz a break when it comes to datamining stuff Blizzard would like to keep hidden in an attempt to not make the arms race go out of hand.

I do find this idea hilarious, that the SI:7 wouldn't recognize Vanessa if she just put on a pair of pants. I guess that her legs really were her only defining feature after all.

To be fair, her lack of pants is a signature look for her, same with Whitemane.
I'm not that upset, just find it confusing that this is the same game that has nipples and bare chests left and right for many of its male cast.¨
And yeah, a lot of people do like revealing characters, so it's sad to see a lot of them getting toned down.

Maybe I'm just unobservant then, but I'd hardly count it as signature for her. Whitemane, perhaps, though again I've never paid much attention to her lack of pants either. (If anything, its her hat that I always focused on)

I just think its a bit much for people to be acting like this is some major change for her. Meanwhile I'm more thinking of how in the story the heritage quest it is clearly a way to rehab her and make her a relatively good guy and then write her out (while leaving the possibility to bring her back). I did see some others talk about this but that is more what I would be bothered by, not a slight change in outfit.

Alexstrasza is imo one of the better examples of "censoring". She stills shows off skin, while not looking like she's in a bikini.
Also for my lack of input on her story, it's because I haven't done the human heritage questline, so I haven't formed an opinion there yet.

I find it kind of disappointing they're still extremely reluctant on giving us more pant options, the recent "revealing" pants are quite literally just shorts. You're forced to use vanilla-tier pants if you want what Whitemane wears, because Blizzard doesn't allow you to hide your pants for some reason.

That’s true, the last none full pair I can think of is the bastion one that it’s pretty much just some weird looking shorts.

Oh, by all means, that doesn't mean it's not true that Blizzard are absolutely only entertaining these changes because they need a craven out after all those people they molested.

I'm just saying, it's more likely that the current set of people designing NPCs simply has different collective preferences on how NPCs dress than the set of people designing NPCs 10, 20 years ago.

I do love that set & wish we'd get a new HD version of it, but it's ironic that you just pointed out a "signature look" is the exact same look, on two completely different characters.

If nothing else I hope they have something similar for every major patch. I absolutely love how easy it is to gear up altså and gather transmog. It just slots so perfectly together with the creation catalyst and tier sets.

Only thing I hate is 6 cap on Catalyst, if I level some class on last week (.. and now I kinda want to level all 13), I won't be able to finish set. Btw there is nice trick with geting both Normal and Heroic set - first you transform items into tier when they 2/3 and when you upgrade to 3/3 you get both Primalist and Heroic tier transmog.

All I'm saying is, if they do a world revamp, I hope they expand upon what was just established with the Orc heritage stuff. Give revamped or forthcoming Orc settlements clear affiliation with a specific or Clan, complete with heraldry.

My point is just that most of these changes are also totally harmless, and I don't really care about them either way. They're not really a loss, per se, just a change, and I can't be fucked to care about pixelated thighs.

It's always interesting to see the same people that are incensed about this stuff react to updates to other models. They love it. Beg for it, even. But you cover up a single square inch of virtual boob or thigh? Heresy.

Alexstraza's models never looked attractive ingame. Her new outfit looks overdesigned and like it's from a completely different game than WoW. Out of game, she had some decent to good fanart in her original outfit.
