Because I'm sure each and every single armor piece has to be approved by Metzen.
There's no way that wouldn't bog things down, no sir.

"We've heard our female employees," he said. "And my daughter tools me out about it. She saw a World of Warcraft cinematic of the Dragon Aspects, and my daughter was like, 'Why are they all in swimsuits?' And I was like, 'I don't know. I don't know anymore.'" - Metzen
I think a lot of people are painting Metzen someone who will bring back over sexualized characters is nuts. The guy spoke against it years ago - now I am not agaisn't skippy mogs(I play on moonguard) and think it should be applied equally across the board. Maybe not on main characters unless its thematically included like night elves.
I don't like bikini mogs, especially when going through armor mods on skyrim.
But more barbarian like mogs, wild, savage would be awesome for both body types.
Typically, yes. That is what the Creative director does. He gives the go ahead on everything in the conceptual stage before it gets turned into real assets. There's only about 10 to 15 full sets of armor added to the game per year (10 to 20 now that they added class sets back) so its not that many. Approving them would take an hour of his time, tops
I think he is referencing that one interview Metzen had where he was playing the game or something and his daughters asked why does the lady on the screen wear a bikini and he didn't know what to say and that changed his perspective or something.
Just give people options, it's not that hard really. And it's really not someone's business what other players wear on their character.
Azshara should be in a skimpy mod. Because it is in character with her. I am not sure what other character in WoW makes sense to be in such a mog. Never understood Whitemane for instance. She forgot to put on pants?
That said, allow such mogs for whoever wants to use them.
What, you think that he is somehow disonnected from reality in which he is in charge of entertaining franchise with huge dude fanbase, that also requires some big Ws and slutmog is one of the most requested things from players? Let's not mix personal lives with business.
Also obviously there is the long range between characters showing no skin and characters wearing only panties. Pretty sure Metzen will be able to find the place for slutmog landing.
I just don't see him going piece by piece to make sure it meets some nebulous sluttiness level that some people apparently crave so badly. At best he'll go "yeah that looks about right" and moves on.
People expecting so many changes with Metzen back are going to end up disappointed.
But we all agree on Gadgetzan, right?
Weird question: is there anything set to happen outside of the Stormwind gates? I just finished the DK starting zone and theres a crowd of like 10+ lvl 70s kinda standing around as if waiting for something.
Not all from the same guild. All looking at the same spot. Some are pacing as if to pass the time while waiting for something.
I asked but no one responded.

Part of the reason is that Battlegrounds are like ducks.
The irony that Metzen left Blizzard because it was messing with his personal life - Warcraft lore is Metzens creation to say it doesn't involve his personal life is to just not understand how creativity comes out from personal experience.
The guy is a Dad now - with daughters. I don't blame him for not wanting to turn wow back into an 80s fantasy trope.
So, apparently, the questions that, as the Millenium interview with Stickney implies with its wording, the Aspects + Vyranoth will have for Tyr are the ones they've been harbouring for a while. So no recent revelations.
With Alexstrasza it can be understood, she may know that it was Tyr who messed with the eggs, but not why. The answer will definitely involve the info Tyr found with his experiments. But what questions would the other Aspects have that are not about what they've learned recently?
That depends, is there a faction war between 3 rival gangs going in the city?
Though if it was done in-game, then RIP Zul'Farrak and good chunk of Tanaris being part of the city... Either way, I don't know how that'd work out because if that is the entire focus of the expansion.. then one of the groups will have to be the evil-antagonist (and let's face it, it's going to be the Cabal because of Kazakus).
However if it turns out to be all 3 groups working together as part of a greater conspiracy then I'd be all for it.
