If 10.3 exists then yeah sure 2.5 can be sizable. If it doesn't exist then they need to get the next expansion out as fast as possible so whatever size it needs to be to not impact that is how big .5 and .7 should be.

Hopefully larger. I don't know what they could add besides paladins / druids / shamans for all races, and some quest lines to wrap up loose ends though.

10.2.5 seems a likely candidate to reveal at Blizzcon, so probably that. Once they have to reveal that 10.2 is the last major patch they will need to start damage control immediately to prove DF is deliberately this short, and not another failed expansion like WoD and SL.

They addressed him being in the shadowlands without trotting him out as a raid boss. He's gone, he's in the past. And the game needs to stop living in the shadow of him. He's not a hero, he is a murderer, while tragic, irredeemable. That story is done. The jailer stuff idk it seems dumb but still that would have had Alex involved.

No one wanted or was asking for a redeemed Arthas, but they wanted his character to be respected; that is not what happened

10.2.5 should ideally have a lot of improvements to old evergreen systems, rather than try to add more stuff to DF specifically. Or at least, if it is the final patch as seems likely.

I imagine it will lay the groundwork for a fated season, and the equivalent patch in SL had a lot of small stuff that isnt immediately apparent as improvements in hindsight, like old dungeons in the M+ pool. So I hope for something similar from this expansion as well.

My feeling is that we get an announcement of the next patch and unlikely but a road map up til 11.0 next week to keep the focus on beyond at blizzcon. Hopefully with a chunky new feature for the blizzcon build

The leaker never confirmed that the Lands of Conflict are the EK. If anything Kalimdor would fit more, especially with elements and a new shaman spec.

I would prefer a revamp to housing.

Nah it doesn't fit Kalimdor better, as there is an old book called Lands of Conflict that is about the Eastern Kingdoms.

I wouldn't read too much into that leak being real besides the WoW stuff. All it would take is someone to have seen a bit of the Diablo stuff and add on WoW things.

Keep in mind, for prior BlizzCons (2019 and earlier) we received the "schedule of events" anywhere from 1.5-3 weeks before the LIVE event. In other words, I would expect that to come out next week to HYPE people up, too (in addition to anything else coming over the next two weeks for HYPE TRAIN).
