It needs to be like BFA/SL/WoD.
Those cinematics are very popular. DF is cutesy and feel good. It has significantly less views even taking into account that its newer. Next xpac needs to be more traditional warcraft and hype.
IE Sweaty Orcs fighting/some kind of battle/huge explosive event etc. Not courageous stone man fixes light house and gets caught from falling by mommy dragon.

I mean, it is implied that souls DID have a choice, they were just restrained from traveling when we visited because of the anima drought. Unless you were sent in Revendreth, you could ask for a second chance; an Aspirant that constantly failed to become Ascended could go to Oribos and end up in a new afterlife. And the vast majority of souls did not end up in the four instrumental realms but went to other afterlives that did not serve a purpose beyond being afterlives. It's probably that all Sylvanas saw was a carefully crafted scenario to get the desirable emotional response.
I actually forgot about him, won't lie so my bad.
Still i think to making it much bigger and "wider" experience, tieing it to lvling experience could be really good for the game and especially new players.
Maybe even more NPC's like lorewalker cho in different parts of the world.
Also when i mentioned animated videos i think something like "warbringers" style stories that always release before new expansion would be fun, it wouldn't even have to that much detailed and like i mentioned just having slides showing different pictures of the story you want to hear would be nice.
You could also for example ask this npc "what is scarlet crusade?" etc.

It was not in Zaralek, it was at the very end of the Dragonscale Expedition in Thaldraszus. Those experiments took place after the Aspects and the Halls of Infusion were created. Outside of "catalouging the lifecycle and potency of the various proto-dragon phenotypes", nothing else was told. I guess he was developing a way to order them that wouldn't kill/maim them.

*the previous Arbiter. Pelagos resolved to listen to the counsel of others before passing eternal judgment and, unlike the previous Arbiters, decided to give each soul a voice in which afterlife they wanted to be sent to. He also decided that no soul would ever again be sent to the Maw, as he believed that everyone deserved a chance at redemption and recent events had shown that every soul had the potential to change the fate of the Shadowlands*
I mean, it's directly stated souls getting a voice would be new.
