It looks fairly convincing to me but it wouldn't be impossible to fake. Just seems like it would be a lot of work.
I haven't looked at the data itself, however here's some facts surrounding the whole D4 expansion thing:

On October 2 Blizzard pushed the expansion to the encrypted fenrisdev endpoint. The key to access it was still available from a previous closed D4 preview and Blizzard forgot to regenerate it. People got to work on mining it (e.g. Stiven's "I can see what others cannot" tweet), but the files themselves are encrypted by various things too so it didn't "fully" leak, skip forward a bit and word leaks out, a YouTube video gets made and Blizzard purges the CDN on the 17th and rerolls the encryption keys (Stiven also tweeted out an annoyed tweet at this happening ).

So up to that is real at least, I can't comment on the rest.

So, we don't know if what was said is real or not.

The metadata that did leak could very plausibly be what said YouTuber is looking at in his video. If it isn't, that is a lot of work to come up with in that short amount of time, especially considering some things did actually leak.

That's what people on this very forum speculated because of the variety of NPCs. I don't think there's much more about it for now but I don't remember every detail that was said on the topic.

I remember that there was another one called "Shadows of Azeroth", but i could not find the link.
Legitimacy aside, this sounds exactly like what the "revamp crowd" wants, yes?

That would sync up with the D4 leak being posted here on the 17th. It looks like D4 reflection is a private server that is currently in beta being developed by a hacker group. @Marlamin Do you think they could realistically crack Blizzard's encryption?

I don't know how familiar you are with how D4 filea are arranged but is that something that could be in release D4 as a file that someone could go into and just add some lines here or there relatively quick?

Probably because they’re focused too much on the (likely placeholder) models.

I don’t see anything tying those encounters/NPCs to the brawler’s guild, as I don’t see any brawler’s guild NPCs in the DungeonEncounter.db

Even by their own admission they didn't actually have to crack it again they supposedly just used the original D4 alpha keys to do it. So that would definitely save a ton of time.

Yeah, Blizzard can't win here, can they? The WoW community will NEVER be happy with anything they announce.

Nobody really cracked anything, the key was available to a select few a few years ago and hasn't been regenerated since. The encrypted expansion data that came with the release will likely stay encrypted unless someone also had a license to log onto a server for the expansion with, which would have given them the other (new) keys as well, which I doubt would be up/public.

No clue, you'd have to ask someone who cares about D4 datamining, I only commented on the stuff that was generic enough (encryption/CDN stuff) so I know about it from the WoW side of things.

Rokhan is the same VA as Bayek from Assassin's Creed; genuinely one of the most distinctive voices in the industry - plus like you said, Rokhan has been in the universe for years, I'd love to see some more development for him

They need to leave them hard. Personally up until M+ existed no era for dungeons hit as good as the launch heroics did until they did that thing where they listen to out of game feedback instead of the people actually playing. If they're in there nerfed then it would remove a large chunk of the nostalgia for the Cata enjoyers.
Imo leave them hard until Firelands and then nerf base heroics while adding harder Titanrune dungeons.

We are only 5 years away from Legion again.

My mind may change, but without heavy changes, Legion is probably the last classic xpac im interested in.

Although I was flying around Zuldazar yesterday after finally picking up my free Pterodax mount and it was nice to be back. BFA was very atmospheric.

No, that MapID (1963) is also (very) old, being made somewhere during BfA development so either it's someone messing around with something old, something that has been in the works for a long time or some reuse of an old MapID. The map (dungeon really) has 4 difficulties, Normal (available from level 10-60), Heroic/Mythic (level 50) and M+ at level 70. Notable is that the M+ content tuning ID is shared with DF dungeons from Uldaman through Halls of Infusion, so this might be something that potentially comes out during DF still if it isn't some abandoned dev experiment that made its way into the files, which happens, no way to tell if it's really 'something'.

Theres already 3. 4 if you count hardcore.

It could potentially be 5 or 6 if classic+ is a thing which is crazy.

That is interesting. Wonder why Wowhead thought the map wasn’t added in the database, then.
