It didnt. The actual leak was an expansion and a text file that mentioned kurast and something called spiritborn. All the rest of it seems to be an asspull from someone that happened to see the actual D4 leak and fan fictioned the rest of it

Still, a solid leak still deserves the attention it deserves. And this was still a leak from before the D4 stuff was widely known.

F2P is not bad for WoW but only for the classic version. They could be using server versions from 1.12 to 3.3, this will destroy all pirate servers. But this doesn't work for retail, subscription is needed for stable income for future content creators.

Not if you have a battlepass system that basically replaces the subscription for anyone who collects things, which is the majority of people.

While I’ve advocated for a Yrel expansion in the past, I believe that Iridikron and the Algarian Stormrider really stomps out Yrel’s chances of reappearing. I believe that Iridikron is going for the world soul in 11.0, and while Fyrakk uses the firelands to try to destroy Titan stuff in 10.2, Iridikron is going to use the earthen plane (Deepholme) to try to really destroy Titan stuff in 11.0.

How interesting. Third villain going for the same objective.

I'm not so sure Iridikron is going after the World Soul. If any, I believe he claimed to liberate and free the elementals from the Titan's hold, which in turn may facilitate a resurgence of the Black Empire somehow.

Of course they're AI. He explicitly claimed he used AI to show what he could without incurring in very explicit showoff that could lead him into trouble. They could all be fake, for all we know :P

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s even being tricked by the void (or harbinger) in this.

Iridikron probably thinks a titan free Azeroth means elemental/primal. But the void obviously has other intentions for the planet.

He wants to free Azeroth of titan influence. What better way to do that than to "destroy" the very thing that brought the titans to Azeroth in the first place?

If for some silly reason they do bring Yrel in I think it’ll be a MU variant.

Or would at least be an ally. The light itself isn’t hostile towards us when there’s a big threat present. (Death, Legion, Void, etc)
At most they’d ally with the 7th force due to N’zoth’s quote of “The light has made a bargain with the enemy of all”
(Unless for some reason Elune is the “enemy of all” to the void? I mean she is meddling with every cosmic force after all.)

My headcanon is that both Iridikron and Xal'atath aren't actually the baddies we think. Fighting anyone who tries to claim the world soul, in their case, the Titans, might actually be the correct thing to do.

To us & our goals I definitely think Xal’atath is a villain. Especially if she’s an old god after all.

We did also give her access to the Seat of the Pantheon in Legion too which she even thanks us for & that the void has been trying to do that very thing for a while.
So maybe next xpac that comes into play somehow?

From interviews a revamp isn't coming just yet. Storms of Avaloren would be the most likely given its callback to mists of pandaria, and tie in to the new area. It's unlikely khaz algar is in the old world.

For fun comparing his responses on player housing and a revamp. He was wordier for the one he was saying no to at the time. Holly was big on the world as a world so idk, I think the leaks where it's like a small revamp and then expeditions are close.

Player housing is topic that comes up a ton around the team. Tons of support for it across the community and within the team, it’s something many of us would love ourselves. Putting together any of the package of features for an expansion, it’s a mix of what thematically suits the expansion, what’s going to appeal to different types of players, but also what would be required to deliver that feature at the level that players expect and deserve, and what would we have to give up to make that happen… and player housing is a big one. It’s a big project, a big undertaking, and I would argue that if we were to do it, it would probably have to span multiple expansions – it’s a large enough feature just from the art.

In the event of a world revamp, what would people like the capital cities to look like? Some visual revamps, sure. But should an attempt be made to emulate the Vanilla style of all cities being equally important? Or should we stick to one main hub, and the rest just being used for the occasional event?

From how he answered the World Revamp question I would almost argue it's the most likely outcome for 11.0, purely because it immediately addresses the issue.
