Hey, don't diss on falafel. That stuff is delicious. And good for you. Also some parts, like the story and the way it is delivered certainly is better. Others are debatable, like the combat, and some are better in WoW. Like Itemization. I generally favor FFXIV in most regards, but magic items are boring compared to what WoW has to offer. It makes balancing easier, but still.

That would be the best day in WoW.

I could see Iridikron being the final boss on this expac. I just don't see how they have this lineup of possible DF villains (3 remaining incarnates, murozond, chromatus) and then somehow fit some random dracthyr as a final boss for one of the raids.

Chromatus is just not in the running. He could have been but so far nothing indicates he will be used. That said, the 10.1.X blue dragonflight content could have him escape from his arcane prison.

And perhaps we deal with some of them outside raids. And one of them could survive so that they can keep the Primalists as a threat going in the future. We need more background threats for sidequests in WoW.

    Big missed opportunity.
Probably would be too complex for current WoW devs to model
I don't play WoW anymore smh.

Probably they just did it to make things more varied. I think Fyrakk will go mad and become boss of 10.1.5 megadungeon, 10.2 will be ice dragon/emerald dream, 10.3 iridikron/time themed patch.

Honestly I'd love a double dragon fight for 10.2. Have both Fyrakk and Vyranoth in one fight. It would lend to some amazing fight mechanics.

I think the megadungeon will be the big tower in Azure span (Vakthros?). Not sure how one of them would fit there, but who knows.

Couldn't that only be one of his seven heads, and all of his heads have arms? We're not exactly talking about sensible anatomy here.

A fair point. Many heads...appendages. But I'm sure it'd be problematic to say; "Hail Hydra! Cut off one head and two will take their place!" (I'm trying to be amusing here)

ALso it could be that one is the illustration from a Warcraft source (the Chronicle) and the other is an illustration from Hearthstone. Until Y'shaarj is raised and terrorizes the Darkmoon Faire, I don't think the second one can be assumed canon . . .

To be fair, I think it's acceptable to lend a degree of canonicity-until-proven-otherwise to Hearthstone designs (at least where it's sensible, of course), given that N'Zoth's design was also initially revealed in Hearthstone. Although it went through a few revisions and doesn't quite look identical, I feel like we can assume this is fairly close to how Y'Shaarj looked. Although the "seven heads" bit is likely literal, this is otherwise probably how he looked.

It could be. Usually megadungeons are side stories. Karazhan was linked because it was invaded by demons (but you barely fought any demons in it until the end) but Mechagon and Tazavesh were not really bound to the main story. Still, the Primalists did want something from that tower and it was important enough for Razsageth herself to attack so it would make sense. And imo it is the best way to bring Chromatus to the story (he is trapped in an Arcane Prison constructed from Blue Dragonflight arcana so maybe it holds the key to access that prison/could be where such magic originated which would let the Tower hold a very diverse roster of bosses) but why would the primalists ever want to free him?

Could be chromatus in there, could also be a 5th incarnate. Who knows.

Well we do know that he's guarded by blue dragons and not all answered the call meaning his guards are still guards

As for why they would want him free he could stand against the weakened aspects no problem

How? He was made and imprisoned when Dragon Isles were inaccessible.
