I am trying to understand the importance of AMirdrassil "burning" vs "being corrupted" and I am drawing a blank? Is there a point or is it just pedantry on all sides?

What would you like to see in the 11.0 cinematic?
I want to see a cross between the WoD and BFA cinematics (in terms of epicness)!
Basically burning the tree and wanting to corrupt its heart are apparently so conflicting goals the internal logic of the entire game falls in flames. The idea that in a fantasy setting magic fire can burn and corrupt at the same time is impossible to accept

Gryphons of course
Like you said, Iridikron would be cool. My personal hope, though, is something narrated by the Harbinger - essentially lamenting (and showing glimpses of) the various trials that have led to this point in the story, i.e. the civil wars of the Black Empire, the presumed fall of Xal and the Ordering of Azeroth by the Titans. Hinting towards everything coming together and her plans unfolding.
Need an excuse to see Old Gods in a proper expansion cinematic.
What I want to see is basically the opposite of the Dragonflight cinematic, it was just way too boring.
