No WoW leaks in sight, shrouded in night.
Gamers in silence, with bated breath keen,
For the grand revelation, yet to be seen.

In Azeroth's realm, where heroes take flight,
The expansion awaited, out of sight.
No spoilers escaped, no hints to be gleaned,
In the night before BlizzCon, the mystery deepened.
    Impressive, very nice!

I still wonder how many of the leak larpers are one known poster in here
    Zorn | Vynd | Pheraz | Sylwina | Mondlicht | Eis | Blut | Emerelle - Plus 20 more...

Even CATA is what WARCRAFT is about. Brought most beautiful landmass. Has some really, REALLY dark fantasy in it (Vashjir, Deepholm, Twilight Highlands....)

Compare Grim Batol to Stormstout (w/e spelling) Brewery dungeons. And you will see why MoP (and potentially 6.0) sux and has nothing to do with WARCRAFT FRANCHISE (not saying that we solely need WARCRAFT.... but WARCRAFT-TASTE)

So.... you take just 1 dungeon from MOP.... and then theres HOF, Dread Wastes, ToT, SoO where Garrosh literally opens chests with still-beating heart.

Then genocide, torture, killing POWs.... yeah... mop was laugh and giggle. For 1 dungeon and 1 zone.

MoP has LOTS to do with WARCRAFT. LOOOOOOTS! Everything about it is warcraft related AND/OR has "warcraft" vibe in it.

You failed miserably in trying to "make a point".

also, you forgot to mention Lost City of Tol Vir dungeon and whole zone of Uldum. They were walking-reference, literally. Yet nobody complained about it because it was funny, goofy... BUT DONE WITH STYLE. And good story. And good voice acting.

e: Seriously, Uldum? Have you ever actually talked to anyone who played this game? It's near universally despised

Where were you during Cata? A lot of people complained about how Uldum was basically Indiana Jones featuring the Tol'vir.

Shouldn't Lightforged Draenei be called Lightforged Eredar?

My favourite new buzzword is "feels like Warcraft" because nobody can explain what the fuck that even is, but it's a good tool to shit on something you don't like.

Stormbreak / Stormbreaker is a pretty decent name. Much better than Shores / Shadow / Secrets of x.

Wow this never occurred to me, but yeah, they never went to Draenor with Velen, right? Lol whoops!

Edit: Wait I think that’s wrong. Pretty sure they called themselves Draenei “exiled ones” before splitting and landing on Draenor.

Heavy Metal instead of Rock Opera.

Or pop rock, as Dragonflight feels sometimes.

Apparently when the eredar left Argus with Velen on a Naaru ship (and were thus exiled/Draenei), somewhere on the way to Draenor the ship split in two, with one crashing on Draenor, and the other flying around with Xera until it crashed on Argus in Legion. Just read this so it's news to me.

I've been playing through old quests this weekend. One thing I never hear in complaints is the quests, but Legion is still really fun to quest through, especially Suramar. I like being in that place and playing through that story. I don't feel the same about other expansions.

Assuming we get a Timewalking revamp, what do people want? Other than of course the remaining expansions to be worked in?

Personally I would love if 1. Timewalking lasts at least a few weeks at a time. 2. Timewalking incorporates a zone and relevant quests and acitivites from said expansion. 3. Rewards are more fleshed out, with raid recolours and mounts. 4. Timewalking raids are baked more heavily into the later parts of a season. Rather than being an intermittent source of NM gear, have it be a constant source of HC gear for when the .5 and .7 patches come out and the current raid has grown stale.
Timewalking should always be active and rotating weekly on the xpac.

What a garbage response/take, you know what he means in that DF is more cartoony/disney than any other expansion through its delivery. Quit being dramatic.

I think that's a distinct possibility if the expansion is a new continent as opposed to a revamp or something cosmic. If Elune features heavily then I expect that Decay will feature very heavily but as far as like any theories in that direction I've got none.
Isn't a battle mage basically an enh shaman? What exactly would you want out of a battle mage class?

I take it they mean gothic WoW. But that era has long passed since we're not in EK or Kalimdor anymore. Undead and demons dominated the majority of the world but those threats have been dealt with.

    No.

Battlemage is like the boss from Sauramar raid.

With the Dragonflight logo on the other hand, I was completely in denial over it being the real logo because it had comparatively much less detail and it broke the silhouette of past expansion logos in a way that was completely unprecedented. And I wasn't alone in thinking that.

If the logo leaks, I hope they've changed something up this time around as well (like DF did with the silhouette) so that no one can make up their mind about whether or not it's real. That'll be fun.
Comic sans wow logo coming right up lol.

I can't believe how much ai progressed in 2 years.

Well... they're trying to use a very specific location/mindset to stereotype an assorted population, which isn't that different from any other place. Bad takes from bad responses *shrug*
