I think the difference is that under the previous Arbiter you did not get a choice initially but if you ended up somewhere and you were a poor fit, you did get a choice. And it was explicitly true for Revendreth where souls that actually are absolved from their sins get a choice to go back to the Arbiter or become Venthyr. And Grimoire of the Shadowlands and Beyond confirms this is also true for Aspirants; if they fail to Ascend they go back to the Arbiter and send elsewhere. So it is only unclear for Maldraxxus and Ardenweald.
Granted they have far more choice under Pelagos. But it seems that some of their issues before were also because of the Anima drought. Both Pelagos and Uther would have probably been send back to the Arbiter to go elswhere, perhaps to one of the afterlifes that is not serving a specific purpose.

Sylvanas was great but Jaina and Azshara were on a different level and combined with the excellent cinematic they really framed BfA so much better than it deserved. Of those, only Azshara lived up to her promise.

They absolutely would not add a new leveling zone for one (old) race. Exiles' reach is only 2 expansion's old.

I suppose. Ill admit I forgot about that. I still think IF they do a full world revamp they would redo the race zones like I said, but they wouldn't have to I guess.

I'm still not sure where people are getting "Tyr evil/antagonist" from that, either. He was pretty much just doing observational studies.

People are projecting real world politics into WoW.

Which she had no real hand in. And most of that wasn't actually a real restriction, just a bit more complicated than under Pelagos. The option was still available.
Also note that, if she had succeeded at her actions, Zovaal would just have destroyed the whole universe. Achieving her goals was entirely happenstance and not a result of her efforts. In fact, it happened despite them, not because of them.

I can see Denathrius making a return if the expansion turns out to be Light vs Void. He already hates the Light, but he fucking loathes us mortals for fucking over all his plans in the Shadowlands. I can see him being recruited in the upcoming war on Azeroth just to get a chance at revenge.

I kinda feel like Denathrius has Zero care about being from the Death realm and only cares about himself at this point. Therefore i would speculate that he will end up becoming the new leader of the Burning Legion.

I do not like how wow color pallet has gotten a bit too dark.

I agree in a sense. They look a bit more realistic, and the models are fantastic, but yes... too dark. Just lighten the colors up imo and they would look great.

true. the sylvanas one was the weakest, probably because the whole premise of the burning of teldrassil was dumb as fuck. the jaina short was perfect tho

It's not really darker AFAIK, it's just that the light was part of the texture on the old ones, while the new ones will be lit dynamically. So in-game they wouldn't look this dark, unless it's in the middle of the night.

Both the Titans and the Eredar are part of the Physical realm and if anything, probably predisposed to Order (Sargeras by virtue of being a Titan and having visited Zereth Ordos, the Eredar by virtue of living in a World Soul planet and like us, having been suffused by its essence.

The Sylvanas one was weak in hindsight and mostly because of the turbulence in the writing team making her story so unstable. If BfA had shown a lot more of Sylvanas and she stayed a woman in the edge of a nervous breakdown and we could see her journey (perhaps with a loyalist questline that was properly developed and followed her more closely), it could have been very satisfying.

Denathrius doing anything is badass. Warcraft shines when the villains are camp and the action is epic and Denathrius is one golden cape away from Liberace levels of camp.

That would probably work better as a time travel xpac imo. Unless Azeroth gets re originated somehow.

Yes, but exile's reach sucks. It has zero racial identity and all it really tells you about your faction is that they are hopelessly inept without the player.

Imagine if Sylvanas had put the crown on instead, and we only went into the Shadowlands as the final patch zone. SL is called something else and is Northrend revamp.

We don't need Ancient Kalimdor to be able of continuous travel (and one map would probably be very problematic for so many reasons; there are probably engine limitations on the size of areas anyway)
Use the Zaralek technology to transition from map to map using sea borders; use skybox illusions for the neighbouring continent outlines and maybe fogbanks/storms.
Then you can join every map by water border proximity by extending the fatigue borders of the continents further using Island Expeditions. If you place Jorundall on either the EK or the Broken Isle map, you could have people flying from Stormheim to Jorundall and then to Silverpine; Gilneas could have multiple islands below it (the channel isles) with Tol Barad, Zul'dare and Crestfall forming a line that leads you to Kul Tiras. Zandalar can be linked to Pandaria with Snowblossom Isle. You really can just connect the entire known areas by using Island Expeditions as stops.

Of course not. It isn't there to tell you about the story. They'd have to constantly change it if it did.

I do believe that Avaloren is happening, but I do not believe it is the next expansion and I will explain why. As many hints and suggestions there are, Dragon isles was kind of similar. If you remember the legendary cloak questline in BFA where you talk to Wrathion on the balcony he says "Few have heard of the Dragon Isles, fewer have been there..." people 100% thought that a Dragon themed expansion was the next big thing. But then, BAM Shadowlands happend and Dragon Isles was saved for the expansion afterwards.

I believe we will be going Underground first somewhere in current Azeroth and not the other side yet and that is being saved for later. You are forgetting about Khaz Algar. Khaz is a dwarven classical name, Khaz Modan is a mountain where dwarves live, Khaz Algar sounds like another mountain with dwarves and some titan stuff. The Uldaman item/quest talks about it in the game in Dragonflight, I believe this is coming first BEFORE Avaloren.

Next month Trading Post is also full of Dwarven stuff.

I hope you are right tbh. I want Algar to be a small continent on its own or just a zone in a revamp xpac. We can do Avaloren in 12.0.

lands of conflicts are updated revamp like cata and textures
khaz algar new lands underground black stormy skybox and titan buildings opening hole in EK but go very deeper down to the center
new races in algar but customization for a lot of races. noticed no water races for algar. looks like might be a new patch for vashjir
new glyphs revamped new system like talent trees but in depth changes spells not power relating
small tree for races not power relating

I still dont buy this, but that sounds pretty cool NGL.
