I think this one is more of the hint possibility than the Wavewhisker. The armor matches perfectly with the unused Nelf heritage armor, which we just happen to see in 10.2 from Sentinels of the New Moon (which can be seen in a shot in the new cinematic), which also ties in relation to the New Moon encrypted cinematic.

That being said, it could just be a mount that the Dream/Amirdrassil aligned Nelfs will ride, and that's that.

But that's not why we're in this forum New Moon Cinematic, Sentinel of the New Moon NPCs, Elun'ahir details... a theme is certainly present.

Big tinfoil, the "epic conclusion" that Danuser refers to is Elune's appearance to strike down Fyrakk?

I must admit, the Trader Post stuff is pretty brilliant on Blizzard's part. I can only imagine that they'll offer a huge stash of Trader Tender when you pre-purchase the expansion.

I wonder if white and blue will be the revamped Night Elf colors moving forward? It's on their second heritage, and now this owlbear.

Don't see why it would replace their recognizable color scheme and not just simply be an addition to them.

Okay so I love that it showed then imbue the axe with runes via the night elves and then he used it to slash open a gateway to the Dream. That was a nice touch. I wasn't really interested in the axe until someone pointed out that the work being done with the ingots at the suffusion camps was to forge that axe for him, so it's pretty cool they ended up making his axe the legendary instead of a random druid weapon that wouldn't have otherwise had a tie to what we have been doing in the story so far. It does actually make sense after all.

Yeah. I mean it felt weird for the druid raid in the druid zone to not give a druid legendary, but they actually made it work.

Honestly, I think the lack of druid legendary was because they wanted to give something that other classes could use. I think the hype around the Sylvanas bow wasn't enough because it was only for one class.

man I like fryakk as a villain. Hopefully 10.2 has more interaction with him because I hate we are killing him what feels like so fast. We need more reasons to hate him because right now I kind of like him.

Do you know what cosmopolitan means? It means it contains people from all around the world. Un-mechanized Gnomes in a gnomish city isn't an example of cosmopolitan. Cosmopolitan is something like this;



Which is likely what Undermine is given that it is a global trade hub.

Yeah because they just found it and were trying to figure out what they found and what the city is about. That's not the same as a major trading city where people from all around the world gather and congregate.

And it was almost entirely goblin with the exception of maybe a slaves. Hardly your definition of “cosmopolitan”

And the Broken Isles and Dragon Isles and Kul'tiras were given major parts in the game. What's your point? That Blizzard isn't going to use a major underground lore city in an underground expansion? Why would they do that when there's nothing else similar in the game?

The Dragon Isles was never a “major lore location” prior to DF.
The only “lore” we got was concept art of the old god temple.

Yeah, but that wasn't what you said. You said that Blizzard wasn't using old lore locations anymore. Again, DF is such a location. If you don't want to use that we had the Shadowlands in 9.0, Kul'tiras in 8.0, the Broken Isles in 7.0, Draenor in 6.0, Pandaria in 5.0 etc, etc, etc.

Never said they WEREN’T (in fact i gave examples of what they used) I said they prefer to use new locations probably because they can actually expand on them more.

It would be pretty neat. The sky darkens. The moon covers the sun in an eclipse, but you can just make out a small crescent in the sky.

A massive celestial arc just swipes down on Fyrakk, leaving him as a crisp. Epic orchestral music slows to a few somber notes, before somebody whispers: "Kaldorei, you are home."

Yeah I think the ending is 50/50 on Elune killing him with some grandiose attack or the tree being grown right after his defeat. Or, preferably both.

And on my part having a baby at the end of July after forgetting to max out the bar earlier on in the month and then being too exhausted to finish it and get the netherdrake. Only reward I've missed so of course it was the fanciest one.

Well at the very least they've said that everything will come back around again eventually. Personally I really don't believe them at all but they've claimed that's happening.

Lucky for you, the Netherdrake is free for everyone in 10.2, you get it when you do the Wrathion quest.

Yea I think at some point Tyrande needs an Elune based W. I know they have her to thank sort of for Amirdrassil and all, but her lack of vengeance for Teldrassil on Sylvanas is still kinda left a bit open.

Also, to counter my point before about the Wavewhisker, I will say I just noticed the Wavewhisker in the 12 Month image has it's rider wearing the Seafaring Diplomat's set. Seafaring 11.0 back on the menu?? /s kinda

Gotta say, its a nice little touch that Fyrakk is well aware of the fact that Iridikron and Vyranoth basically treated him like the third-wheel errand boy of the group, and just went along with it until he got an opportunity to do stuff his way.
I was mostly expecting Blizz to hit him with the "manipulated pawn who gets unknowingly sacrificed as bait" role.

Uh yes. Ogres and savage Jungle trolls that want to kill members of the alliance or horde on sight are considered monsters by any conceivable metric.

Then so are goblins(see venture co), we should really head into the undermine raid and clear them out.

And human necromancers brought the undead to Stratholme. Doesn't change the fact that Stratholme is no longer controlled by humans and Dire Maul is no longer fully controlled by Elves.

Uh those locations were literally created to be hostile locations for adventurers to go to to fight monsters. Undermine was never conceived to be a place like that per multiple Blizzard sources.

no none of there lore starts with “this is a hostile location” they were all city’s they could have been easily added to the game neutral just like undermine.

Just as undermine can be added to the game as hostile.

Again, read the original concept for Undermine as explained by one of WoW's original devs Jonathan Staats.

the original concept doesn’t matter just like the dragon isle isn’t a random island based around ah old god temple or the eradar are no longer all evil and Suamar isn’t at the bottom of the sea.

All that matters is how they put it into the game and that can be as a hostile city if they wish.

and even in that context it isn’t relevant as there’s been no hints of it, hell Grim Batol and shadow forge are more relevant already because the actual hints points toward dwarf involvement.

Don't see why they wouldnt. Even more so when the next patch has more customization options for them.
My guess would be that the next trading post, or the one for December will have the mount as something you buy.
