This game had no updates whatsoever for over a year and then has had 2 back to back in Sept/Oct of this year. Starting to wonder if the leak that mentioned HotS coming back with a map editor/custom game thing is legitimate.

The Leak that mentioned HOTS was disproven by the hearthstone reach, none of the other ones took that gamble.

Yes, this might be the worst leak season to date. Even the most credible leaker is just posting AI generated images.

If we get Avaloren as the "new continent" in 11.0, what type of zones would you like to see/capital city?

If we get some sort of Underground "new continent" in 11.0, what type of zones would you like to see/capital city (perhaps this would be Khaz Algar)?

If we get some sort of "revamp" for the "current zones" in 11.0, what type of "revamp" would you like to see/capital city (cities- For example, Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Gilneas/Lordaeron return, etc.)?

The reason Avaloren (to me) seems less likely is because its a redux of the dragon isles. While Blizzard has pushed to continue storylines, Avaloren as how its been explained thus far is the dragon isles all over again with a mysterious, lost continent with titan and draconic themes. In addition, there's just no major lore hook there beyond Odyn, and there's simply not enough juice on Odyn to base an expansion on him and some titan heretics.

A revamp is coming, but I doubt its happening in 11.0 because 11.0 is likely a continuation of the story from 10.0. The revamp is going to drop when we start a new storyline, which is likely going to occur in 12.0. That said, there is a chance that the events of 11.0 lead to revamp in a future expansion.

IMO, Underground is the most likely. I believe that Thrall on the key art, Zalarek Caverns, Khaz Algar likely being underground, and Iridikron conveniently being an earth-elemental based proto-drake all point in that direction.That said, I don't believe that Khaz Algar is going to play a major role. It'll likely be a zone we visit like the Azure Span or the Ohn'ahran plains. If its an underground expansion, I don't see how Undermine doesn't play a massive role.

It'll be something small like a little pamphlet just a day or two before BlizzCon. And by then everyone in this thread will have turned feral.
