I don't believe it being an archipelago would help at all because the zones look VERY similar to what we're currently playing. I've never experienced early expansion pics where I had a feeling that I had been there before. I get that experience with these pictures, and I got that feeling instantly in this case. If I got that feeling, I'm willing to bet that other players are going to feel the same.

Good eye - that is 100% a mountain king/thane statue, they are repeatedly depicted with that weapon setup. I swear I've seen that exact pose on a dwarven statue ingame before, but can't seem to find it on a quick google. It's definitely one they've used elsewhere - example from WC3 Reforged.

Apparently, as revealed in the "War of the Scaleborn", Fyrakk was the first to find out about how to infuse oneself with the elements.
And the observations Tyr conducted were about that same process.
I wonder if there is a relation, considering that Tyr did conduct a "strategy" to have the primal eggs infused.
Yeah, maybe I am. It's definitely a pose Blizzard have used before - see example I linked in an edit above - but I could have been mixing it with ingame statues like that and Ironforge (and I think Scarlet Monastary as well?). I was thinking it could be a simple copy + paste environment asset, but if it's not currently present in game then that strengthens the image's case for me.
For reference: WC3:R dorf pic that doesn't like embedding
Nah, not quite the vrykul statue.

On the topic of the giant stone eagle. Is it possible it's just a giant scaled up version of the Eagle statue in Trueshot lodge?
