If we're looking at the design factor, Blizzard has been using centered text for the Dragonflight feature overviews. These overviews did not do any zone highlights (which were instead a part of the strange roundtable), but more of a general overview.



They did use this bottom justified text for the Shadowlands feature overviews, which highlighted the zones/afterlives. That being said, it's interesting they chose to specify "Avaloren" over each individual zone, which I suppose makes sense with it being a brand new continent reveal, but it would imply that there are other key features they'd want to highlight.

Avaloren leak can be from a rough draft. I wouldn’t have the lettering play a huge part in denying or affirming anything.

This either proves the OP went out of his way to make a custom game space to make a fake leak. Legendary if true.

Most shots from the teaser trailers they've produced, Kultiras, Broken Isles, are just boring shots of stuff. This isn't fake because subjectively you disagree it is mundane.

Well obviously it isn't fake because it's mundane. I just find it intriguing why we have four pictures, which is honestly quite a large amount. And none of them show anything particularly exciting, or showcased something new.

None of them have new architecture. None of them seem to show a particularly exciting location. One of them is quite clearly just a bunch of reused assets on a field.

In a press kit there would obviously be a bunch of boring images to show off stuff like the flora and what not, but you would atoll have the exciting ones, and out of a collection of probably twenty or so images it's surprising that we hit upon the quarter that is the most boring.


Also the dwarf seems to be AI generated going by the weird hand spike things. And the desert image has the weird tall dwarf model everyone agreed was fake a few weeks back.

And of course the fact that the zones look suspiciously like previous ones, when throwback zones are quite rare.

You know what. With little more than a week to go, I'm dying on the Hill of those new Screenshots. Gotta pick a hill at some point and this one's it. I analyzed that dwarf-ogre thing at length and compared everything to what we already have in game, back when it came out. It uses the new Rexxar (Kul'tiran Skeleton Mok'nathal) Skeleton, the assets were ALL either New or in the case of a fake, custom. We discussed that this CAN in fact be AI faked, but it would apparently take so much more time than just whipping something custom up in Blender. And now there's 4 new Images where one literally has the Dwarf-ogre looking thing in there and the blue-ish dwarf from the Artwork has the name lanky arm-blade/fingers as on the old Artwork, that put us off. And yes, the Background Art used for the Page was not the Dragon Isles piece, it looked similar without context or more details but you could figure it out. So either AI or Real.

Historically speaking, we're approaching a point where the effort for this Leak to receive another update like this, is just .. too high for somebody simply trying to fool people.

Don't see why the direhorn makes it real honestly. It's a new model, but it's also much easier to fake one when you can both copy the style of an available model, and you don't have to animate more than a still frame.

Well, we can only assume that all four zones come from the trailer video. The first one seems to be undeniable due to the appearance of the text (mid-animation), but the rest? It's safe to accept that the same person that had access to this trailer video could very well have also access to other media assets and the 3 other images are stand-alone ones, meaning, not part of the video, right? Especially that the dwarf and dino just standing there in the picture feel a little bit... odd.

They have openly said multiple times that they did not like how the old zones were lost with Cata and that they would make sure not to do so in the future because they now have things like Zidormi phasing to stop any losses. There is no "problematic" here when they can just take the EK Kalimdor set and shove them into their own Chromie time world server. They just went about restoring a bunch of Cata removed stuff to the world this very patch because they want to undo removing content forever, and have been steadily adding back lost dungeon and raid stuff.

From a technical perspective for leaks that aren't just AI art, yes they are amazing. But if they are trailer shots, I'm spooked. And not in a good way.

Agreed. If this stuff is real, Blizzard have really missed the mark regarding what the playerbase actually wants (again lol).

I hope not. That was the mistake Cataclysm made. A world revamp should utilize the revamped zones.

you're not alone (: i'm sure nostalgia skews our opinions somewhat, but it's similar with the music imo. a lot (but not all) of the recent tracks sound like "video game music" to me. as in, they don't stand on their own very well. whereas older xpacs felt more like a musical rendition of the zone, like Azuremyst Isle

Yeah this. If anything I'm on more on board with the Aerie Peak Eagle being matched up because it aligns with the leak stating it was a Lordaeron and North Revamp with boats and the new continent. That's ALOT of fun stuff at once. That builds hype.

If this is fake this is really convincing.
