Oh obviously Argus: Homeworld of the Legion, that sounds incredible.
I also don't think Argus would be similar to what I'm referring to, since it's patch content that in their gameplay theory would not be used much following it's cycle. So maybe the implication behind "New Continent: Avaloren" is that it's either far larger than we're being shown or led to believe, or it'll be evergreen and used in the future post-11.0
EDIT:
I'm speaking out of my ass. You're totally right. To Avaloren we go.

There's no way they just add 10.3 in.
If this Avaloren leak is actually 10.3..... and we're going to get an 11.0 Void/Revamp reveal AND a Classic+ announcement......WoW will finally be saved (hoping & praying & coping).
Uh, we’ve never been or even seen Undermine before, and it’s doubtful such a location would reuse assets on the level we’ve seen in these screenshots.
No, it’s bad because it’s clearly a rehash of existing content. It’s so bad that people here can identify the exact reused asset on a tiny screenshot and give us the name of the asset used.Your “its bad because I think it is!” is a fallacy.
You’ll excuse me if I don’t believe Blizzard is that lazy. If they are (now) that lazy, this game is in a lot of trouble.
The copium for what now dawns on people might be a leak for this to be 10.3 is real lol.
I am officially fully into these images being a 3 zone new "continent" on Azeroth for 10.3
- All the assets are Dragonflight/older, and required minimal effort to put in.
- This place was referenced at the start of Dragonflight.
- The fact that we still haven't been to "Uldaz" yet and an item was introduced in 10.1.5 that references it as a use-effect place.
- We've seen where they've added a 3 zone patch before in the past (legion 7.3 -- hey a .3 patch that added in 3 zones)
Considering that showing a 10.3 Patch and in the same event a 11.0 that will be the aftermath of 10.3 would not make any sense.
And even more that 10.2 comes after Blizzcon oO
I'm not trying to say it's fake because of reused assets, just pointing out that it's a bit unusual for Blizzard to carry this many "old" assets forward into a new expansion. I'm no expert on this obviously (that would be @Marlamin), but when I look at the game files on something like WoW.tools, it looks like they've always made dozens of new assets for a new expansion. Even for things like trees and plants, which they could easily "get away" with reusing.
10.3 is dead, the game model is going to Tom Chilton and Bobby Koticks Annual Expansion format!

I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

We’ve been to it’s island several times. It would be silly to think it’d look any different than “Kezan but underground”
How dare blizzard use a similar statue for the dwarves that have started behaving like our dwarves! GrrNo, it’s bad because it’s clearly a rehash of existing content. It’s so bad that people here can identify the exact reused asset on a tiny screenshot and give us the name of the asset used.
Four still screenshots, likely one of each zone isn’t enough to say it’s a “rehash of existing content”, because you can do that with every expansion.
I guarantee we can find reused assets in every expansion reveal.
But you know, doomers gonna doom
