He would have been banned. The mods ban burner accounts that post leaks or accounts that post multiple different leaks.

If that leak is real, then the A in SoA likely refers to "Avaloren" and not "Azeroth".

I think its more the premise of "oh, another random island" and not as much "these zones look ugly".
It looks good, but the premise is not something some people want or expect.

It's all about the fonts.

Currently they use Metamorphous (newer version of Morpheus) and Semplicita. They're also using a heavier weight of Open Sans on the Dragonflight features page, which appears to be new/different, and could account for the font used in body text from the laptop screenshot.

They also still use Friz Quadrata often, but it's likely they'd stick with the current design cues for their website features page.

it goes further than that

oversimplifying - a website's SEO rank is heavily linked to its adherance to accessibility standards. so it's less about design cues or brand standards, more so that Google will essentially punish websites that aren't up to par when it comes to discoverability (big deal when you're creating awareness for a new product)

The "website leak" forgoes these standards in areas where the text does not have enough contrast with the background it is displayed over. again, stranger things have happened, but i would be surprised to see that webpage being public facing as is. so it could be a WIP, but then the "mobile ready" part seems odd.

No new models, with already implemented ghostly textures is vastly less time-consuming than CREATING a slew of new models for 4 different screenshots.

Uh what new models? The Direhorn, Harpy, and the Earthen in those screenshots are using existing models with reskins. Someone posted up the trees in the desert zone using the exact same model as trees in DF. I'm sure if I cared to dig more I could find more stuff that's just ported over from existing WoW assets.

I agree, it looks good but it also feels very set piece for me. They stage the areas in the feature overviews pretty well, but these feel almost parody of that. I know, I know, I know it's copium for me, but it really just feels off.
