I agree that the art team always nails it, but this looks amateurish and to me it's only emeulating the WoW vibe because it uses WoW models. The first screenshot is good, the rest... meh.

I agree, it looks good but it also feels very set piece for me. They stage the areas in the feature overviews pretty well, but these feel almost parody of that. I know, I know, I know it's copium for me, but it really just feels off.

Cons:
Very standard (uncreative) natural biomes, but not unrealistic considering these are the same people that said they didn't have enough ideas for a full old god expansion.
A lot of reused assets.

Pros:
The original assets that are there are very well done.
Dragonflight had an enormous amount of new environment assets, so that its likely they did that specifically so those assets would get a lot of use in future content. For the same reason those new building & boat assets have been in the game files for several years.

It's not doing it for me, this looks very dull and... meh.
Also: on the desert screenshot where the harpy is, on the right part there is a humanoid in "attack" stance that looks so OFF. Like the perspective and everything it looks like it was inserted manually. Same for the gryphons, same for the butterflies.

Ah Im also going in on the zones thinking "this is just one subzone of the area that can explore many types of that general theme"

What if those zones aren't from Avaloren but are revamped azeroth zones. Hinterlands get winterlands, mauradon extends out and is jungle now, badlands matches the new hearthstone art and is now a mesa desert
