Man, I love nothing more than people complaining about a plot point of an expansion that they've made up in their mind.

Yeah, I mean why would we care about the Titans being good or bad? What kind of influence does it even have for us, the average player, who’s not directly touched by them (like the Dragons or whatever)? Just imagine this from a Human, Troll, Elven perspective. It really doesn’t matter at all. So I have no clue why they try to build up something like this when the outcome is either irrelevant or so inexplicit that it just feels like another random plot point without much meaning. I never was yearning for the Void expansion, but at least there are some stakes behind it. Something like Avaloren just feels so boringly random that it’s automatically rated as filler in my head.

Exactly. It would help if the prepatch stories stayed in the game permanently, but I still feel like the hook for DF was pretty weak and if Avaloren is legit I fear it will be even weaker.

Going to be a giant mine with some goblin building. I mean, we already have a battleground looking like that. What I want to say is that most geographic themes were already exploited in game. It's going to be hard for Blizzard to build something that looks new.

Yeah the website is defo a fake, but people brought it back cause one of those ogre-dwarf-stone guys is seemingly in one of the pictures.
Granted people were convinced the stone guy from the DF trailer screenshot was Garrosh, so who knows? Certainly not us.

I mean we already know they’re not going to top the Dragonflight feature list (aka the next expansion definitely will not have a new class and massive changes like the new talent tree or whatever), so this really feels like the downgrade we got from Legion to BfA. And Dragonflight was far, far away from being the success that Legion was. The next expansion shouldn’t be less than Dragonflight in that regard, but it most likely will be exactly that. Just hoping the leak is not true, but we know Blizzard and they’re lazy and creatively bankrupt, so this really could be what’s to come. If it’s something different and out of the line I think everybody would be positively surprised. But again, this is still the same old Blizzard we already know and they haven’t added anything groundbreaking or truly innovative in the last years.

It looks like what fake leaker would think believable leak look like
Describe some meaningless things specifically (Genn new look! Lorthemar and Thalyssara statues!), sprinkle with things that makes sense (class/race combos), add new feature (becasue of course, there must be one!) - ships or something.

but the main reason why i dont buy it is very simple - this leak just like most of them describes basically DF 2.0 in literally everything. Another round of dragons, elementals and titan keepers in the forgotten islands?
I dont believe Blizzard are that crazy. The expansion must offer REALLY cool features to offset the dead boring and samey premise. Like REAAAALY cool and must play features. Without those features i personally wouldnt buy an expac these leaks describe.

Pretty much this. I m not saying this leak is necessarily real but the fact that after all this time people are discounting this so easily and so fast is really surprising to me. After being proven wrong multiple times even when people nitpick shit like "omg low res textures, omg dracthyr look like shit, omg we cant possibly fight arthas" you d think that after a while people would realize that its sometimes difficult to outright tell whether something is fake or not.

Because the story is setting up the Titans to not be our friends and we're just pawns for Order like the Light wanted from Illidan. The entire story lately has been about how mortals and the natives of Azeroth having to stand up and defend the world for themselves and no one else.

I'm not discounting it necessarily, I just think we know virtually nothing from the images given so far. Sure we got some images of some supposed zones and a new race. But we don't know the context it's presented in. Context is king. Until Blizz confirms anything I'm going to treat this as an interesting couple of picutres but nothing more.

Remember the artwork of the ships in Stormwind? People were 100% convinced they were real and they turned out not to be.

That would be cool though. Still no idea why we would go there, but I would rather have Stormsong Valley, the continent, than Dragonflight 2: Electric Bogaloo

I think it's closer to being real, not the laptop one but the newest leak - but even then if someone would show me this and lied to me that this is some kind of a bigger major 10.3 patch stuff for dragonflight i would believe that.

Zones presentation actually gives me the feeling the first time new zones for DF were revealed, especially the first pic in the newest leak with "avaloren" text, if it said "dragon isles", i would believe it insta.

The three leaks are self xonxistent, and even the art is similar between the website and the zone leak, if someone has a process for making fake layouts and some talent I don't see those not being the same person.

At this point though this is 100% what I would expect. But if there's boats and harbors being added, I really hope that EK and K will finally be on the same map or the ocean is a tunnel between. That is the biggest revamp needed, especially with dragknriding.

If we go by this, why does it matter? What’s the premise for the average citizen on Azeroth (aka our own playable character)? If we should stand for ourselves and just ourselves why are we always following some higher being (in Dragonflight it‘s the dragons / aspects) and not our own agenda? Where‘s the sense behind all of that when we still end up being pawns for someone who’s stronger?

Well BfA gave us a chance to support Sylvanas despite everything. Maybe this time the Faction War will be against Titans and Heretics. A much less relatable Faction War.
