It wouldn't be too crazy to think Avaloren is the DF Timeless Isle, with Uldaz as a final dungeon before the 11.0 pre-patch.

4 zones for a patch -> prepatch into a world revamp, would be insane. Would blow my mind.

Highly unlikely, but wow would that be a killer surprise announcement of a 10.3 with Avaloren.

Yeah, it's probably major copium/hopium, but imagine if they showed off the trailer for Avaloren and it ended with the patch logo for 10.3 instead of the expansion logo for 11.0. Going from believing there's no 10.3 at all to getting the biggest x.3 patch in WoW's history would be quite the surprise to say the least.

Harpies have a connection to G'hanir through Aviana. If this whole world tree roots business takes place in Avaloren, a harpy presence is a believable story beat.

To be fair we know from the books that the Nightsquall has made trips to Avaloren and back. Who knows what kind of crewmembers were on his ship? Or how much sex they had with the natives?
It would be nice if harpies on other continents were at least as diverse as Tauren are, but this isn't particularly hard to handwave.

Combining this finding with @Marlamin's earlier analysis, it seems like there's an unusually high amount of assets from Dragonflight. It almost makes it seem like Avaloren (if real) should be 10.3, not 11.0.

It's just that there are some folks that do it just for fun and work fast on their drawings, they could pull it out in mere hours (Even myself if i had more free time and confidence just to practice i would do somethinglike this, who knows if until 12.0 i'm a little more confident )
Also there is folks that creates Priv servers with new models/zones (or changing existing ones), could had entered on the wagon to troll some people

So at least a few reskins of existing models going on which (even when ignoring the amount of work that would go into making a custom environment like this with proper retail fog/lighting) is a lot of work to do for a leak. Not impossible, but definitely a good amount of work. ]

While I have been wrong with this kind of assumption before, I personally think it's fairly believable they really just put that much effort into deceiving people. The weird way in which everything looks superimposed over the background is very strange, but I do have to wonder why they wouldn't actually just spawn them into the environment if they were already on a server where they could clearly import retextures (e.g. the butterflies and trees). I think the sheer bulk of reused, but lightly altered, assets to be a bit suspicious regardless.

I.E. I think the implications we have is that Kalimdor/ known world is where the Emerald Dream is formed.

Dragon Isles and Centaur, at least, is part of that.

Creating a new continent, divorcing it from everything because it was sealed off, adding it in with the implications of heretics, then populating it with a race charged by the keepers (because who else would charge them), a new Earthen Variant, and wild God spawn linked to the Emerald Dream kind of just feels..

What about the green dragon that crossed the sea and formed a new flight, what was supposedly seen in the Dream years later?

Possible, especially if they're moving forward with having only two major content patches per expansion. But I think that would be disappointing to a lot of players.

Or Blizz is just getting lazy and making fewer new models for new expansions, maybe because talent drain working on a revamp/other games.

Wasn't the whole point of the book that the heretics all left to the new place to have a great titan free party zone with hookers and azerite? I feel like it makes more sense that it's populated by slight variations of the titans charged.

Legion had had 3 zones, a dungeons and a raid in Argus (7.3). It's not so crazy for 10.3.

The only way this works is if they have Classic+ to bury the new Retail model. I am still very much doubtful they want to do this at Blizzcon of all things unless they were pressured from up high.

They have overhyped this Blizzcon so the idea that they are going to use Chris Metzen to soothsay about a fucked up new Game Model is.. Absurdist theater.

Actually yeah hold on there isn't a single new model besides maybe the distant Aggorand in the desert picture. EVERYTHING is a reskin.
