The salient point here is that personal feelings doesn’t diminish the chances of certain themes becoming expansions. If it’s not your cup of tea, then maybe you’re sitting out next expansion? I did that during Shadowlands. In the end, whatever is coming our way is coming our way in 11.0 whether we personally like it or not.

Uh, we’ve never been or even seen Undermine before, and it’s doubtful such a location would reuse assets on the level we’ve seen in these screenshots.



No, it’s bad because it’s clearly a rehash of existing content. It’s so bad that people here can identify the exact reused asset on a tiny screenshot and give us the name of the asset used.

Yeah, because we have some posters who are doomers by nature. I'm not a doomer and tend to be rather optimistic towards WoW's future, so if I'm calling it lazy, that's not a good sign.

Also on the 4th picture the golem is walking in the jungle with no path. That's just utterly stupid. Golems are not wild animals. They are put somewhere with purpose, it won't just patrol in a random jungle, especially not in the reveal cinematic.

Theres literally a Golem walking around Ungoro randomly.

I'm down for it. Crazy Outland-esque skyboxes and vivid colours. Stepping through the portal to Outland for the first time is one of my noob-time core memories. It's 100% fake. There's no way they go from Elf -> Dwarf theme. The day WoW has a dwarf theme will be more embarrassing than Dracthyr, and fake. Dwarf is not a Warcraft theme, sorry. Orc, Troll, Undead, Human, Ogre, Elvish, Dragons (sigh), all are. But, but Magni and the Bronzebeards!! It's funny to watch some of you grasp at straws in the same exact way people did when Dracthyr leaked. Some of you were micro-analyzing the Dracthyr model and pointing out slight inconsistencies on it every single day until they were announced. The fact of the matter is you could find issues with anything you stare at for long enough, much less a pre-alpha version of the next WoW expansion.

Are the biomes similar to previous expansions? Absolutely. This was also the case for Dragonflight, and will probably be a consistent issue in any expansion that isn't on another planet/alien environment. WoW has been around for twenty years at this point, so it's going to be hard to always offer up an entirely unique art-style in regards to the outdoor environment.

I personally find this to be quite believable. Between the never before seen adult "direhorn" model, the unused bird models from 10.0, the brand new Algren Dwarf, and the zone in the screenshot where it says "new continent" being a bit more unique as far as modern WoW zones + most other things in the screenshots, I see no reason to write this off as fake. It's almost certainly real, and next Friday you can all quote this and reply admitting that you were huffing copium of medical-grade proportions.

With all that being said, I think we should all postpone judgement as to if we love/hate the expansion until we have something more than four screenshots of the trailer.

Perhaps, but I have a sinking suspicion that there won’t be too many players enthused about going to yet another mysterious, primordial continent for the second expansion in a row. Especially a mysterious primordial continent with no major character to hook us to that location. At least with the dragon isles we had Alex, Nozdurmu, Chromie, Kalecgos, and Wrathion.

I currently believe this is the real deal as well. And although people here bring up good arguments against it, it does come eerily close to those Dracthyr debunk attempts.

Remember when we were comparing dinosaur textures from MoP and BfA to the Dracthyr skin textures to prove that they were edits? Yeah...
