People that live in this thread really need to stop bitching at the rest of us that don't.

Long time Lurker here. Made account just to say how boring that leak is and usually im pretty positive about WoW.

Yeah, meh is pretty much the consensus about this leak, but exactly that makes it so believable in the end. Meh seems to be exactly that Blizzard is aiming for.

Because with how zones in this game work you have to try to make images this boring to look at.
Where are the landmarks that every trailer shows off with glee? Where are the new assets that the developers happily use wherever possible?

It's certainly possible that these four images are all panning shots from when nothing interesting is on the screen, but what rotten luck that would be. Whoever took these pictures somehow only managed to snag the boring ones, and not the ones showing the entrance to Khaz Algar. Or the giant rift.

Wouldn't be the first time something just happened to be leaked in a way where it looked a whole lot less interesting than the final thing we'll see. Again.. the FINAL MoP Gameplay Trailer they showed on the Blizzcon announcement literally had untextured buildings on the Valley of Four Winds shots.. they used that in the Trailer. And the shot wasn't even a landmark, it ended up just being a random ass field, not even the big Tillers Complex of farms near the edge of the zone border to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. It wasn't always quality shots or landmarks shown for every zone.

Fuck, I'm watching the Trailer again and half of Kun'lai isn't even there, despite the previous shots setting a precedent, that you'd still be able to see the wall and other parts. Kun'lai is literally just a bare ass mountain without the ruins and Yaungol Camps and EVERYTHING, from the shot angle they've showcased. People want boring, the fucking Kun'lai they showcased in their literal announcement trailer is just bare ass terrain, looking nothing like the finished product.

Honestly, I'd say it's unlikely that we won't. There's a full week left for people to mess around with AI or make derivative leaks and counter-leaks, or spin-off leaks. I'm sure we'll get something

After the Bolvar leaks during the pre-Shadowlands we had tons of competing "leaks" with the same basic ideas, some overlapping, and most of them called Shadowlands

I agree. We need more spooky, dark and cruel zones like Drustvar and Duskwood. They are heavily underrepresented in WoW and we could easily have some more. It shouldn't be overdone because then they are not special anymore, but we could def. use some more.

True, but I don’t believe that Odyn can invite interest in an expansion. Especially an expansion that looks just like Dragonflight and contains a neutral race no one’s ever heard of before.

I remember there was one set in a revamped Northrend that I was championing.
It had some good leaked material to back it up. The ideas behind it seemed just the right amount of weird. The zones that were changed drastically made sense. The plot seemed to slot nicely into the end of BfA. Etc.

Ended up not being real of course, but just goes to show how even credible leaks can be wrong.
