Yeah, Zel has made quite a few fakes over the years including the corkboard one (after calling it a bad leak when it came out... suspicious... surely she's not doing the same "make leak and talk shit about it" ruse twice... right?). Hmmmm!

What if the shadows are faint because a void monster in Avaloren is sucking up all the shadows to get stronger? And there's a ton of quests about helping people fall asleep because the void monster eats all the darkness so they can't find a place dark enough to fall asleep in? And the dwarves have to ride the storm because into this life we're born, into this world we're thrown like a dog without a bone?

I mean, if these are supposed to be promotional images from a video, building up to the setup of blizzcon and the like, I'd assume their settings are on Ultra High and everything maxed.

It's a promotional video. "New Continent" type deal. NPC's staged to look a certain way. "The settings were lower when they captured the footage" isn't really an option for the type of trailer this would be.

You are correct. But that's what I am saying though, their settings are most likely cranked out to the max with the best possible GPU on the market. (Even though WoW doesn't really need it) but yours might not have RTX enabled. I am basically saying you'd have to have everything maxed out as well if you really want to make a fair comparison.

We also have no what are the new additional engine improvements. Every expansion they always improve the engine in one way or another. So the game/leak is obviously running on an updated client and ours is not. (Assuming it's real)

DF for example had massive improvement in draw and view distance, it was one of the highlights of the zones and overall asthetic and the dragon riding complemented the big zones because of such draw distances.
My point is that it's near impossible to be able to make 1 to 1 comparison with such things and as I said it doesn't help the pictures are in much lower res.

What if the void monster decreases video resolution so the closer you get to it the lower your resolution gets. That's why as we killed each Old God, the resolution got better.

I appreciate MoP more on balance, especially after BfA's disastrous faction war plot. Although, if we really are staring down the barrel at a third "misty island" expansion, it might be time to veer from its legacy.

Modders make custom models all the time. Heck, there are university students looking for a place on the internship program who post the most insane creations online.

I'm slowly starting to lean back towards the screenshot leak being fake. Its connection to the website leak seems like a point against it simply due to how amateurish the website leak looked.

Those screenshots are supposedly tied to the Storms of Avaloren "leak" that specifically mentioned 4 zones in the upcoming expansion: Jungle, Desert, Rocky peaks, snowy peaks, which match the screen shots. No "starting zone" was mentioned.

Also DF had 5 zones because the new zones are larger than previous WoW zones due to dragon riding. If Avaloren has 4 zones that look like rehashes of Dragonflight's zones, we're in a lot of trouble come 11.0.

What lmao. 4 zones is 4 zones. DF had 4. Dragon riding will carry over this a zone in the future would also be large enough to accommodate it.

Has anyone else noticed that recently the loading screen from exiles reach (upon completion) now has a map marker and dotted line to SW/ORG on the world map when it hits the loading screen.

This location didn't used to have that loading screen.

Broken Isles had six; Broken Shore, Azuna, Val'Shara, Highmountain, Stormheim, and Suramar.
Shadowlands had six as well: Oribos, The Maw, Ardenweald, Revendreth, Maldraxxus, and Bastion.

All of which were announced when the expansions were announced.

Its a little dishonest to count Oribos as a zone. Also Legion was marketed as having 5. Broken shore was used for little.

This is tiresome. You have no idea how many zones are going to be announced at Blizzcon. Using 4 screenshots equals 4 zones shows kindergarten level thinking skills. Or you are being dishonest on purpose to "win". When people tire of this Everytime, do you consider that a win?

I mean I dont think they are necessarily connected just like Dragonflight had some fake leaks with the correct name. Anyway what makes you think the website looked amateurish? At first I thought it was off center but someone here showed its not and the rest looks pretty much in line with typical Blizzard expansion site.

For this particular leaker, it was probably the easiest thing to make.

In fact, I think it's weird there aren't more custom rocks in some of these images. A bunch of them look really simple and dated.
