I’ve not checked the thread since yesterday AM and there’s been a shit load of posts since. Are people in agreement now that the screenshot leaks are likely fake or is it still up for contention?

At this stage, i'd say we are sitting at at 50/50 chance of it being real or not.

That last sentence worries me. If it is real, and I highly doubt it is, it makes me worry that people would be happy to consume whatever blizz are serving regardless, and that Blizzard know they can get by only offering mediocrity in future.

We’re in the darkest timeline if it’s real then.
I’d be happy with Avaloren, provided the lore is decent and it’s a cohesive, atmospheric zone. Those screenshots don’t inspire confidence though.
If we get Avaloren and it isn’t Avalon inspired then Blizz have missed a trick.
You can’t force them to like a game if it doesn’t fill them. A lot of decisions in the game have been questionable but we all have our breaking points, so it’s understandable if friends hate it as it’s no longer fun. I’ve seen indie devs take better care of their games because they too are having fun.
Even if they are real, one cannot assume what the expac is going to be like, with only 4 screenshots. It's ridiculous to claim otherwise.
Certainly hoping they're not real. They're immensely boring, and the idea of dwarf, but neutral, but also made of rocks just seems stupid to me. Like, who asked for that? We literally have Dark Iron already, and just got a neutral race that was butchered.
I just want something to be excited about that exists already. We have so many races and locales we can be using that aren't... that.

We can assume based off the four screenshots that it’s going to be another landmass full of undiscovered and undisturbed wilderness with very little civilisation, ergo Dragon Isles 2.0. Because otherwise, the screenshots would have shown us some unique architecture, cities, settlements, landmarks. They’re just bog standard out in the wild shots.

I’ve got no issue with Dwarves. Dwarves are great and should get more exposure. It’s the high probability that if those screenshots are real, it’s just Dragon Isles 2.0, but with even LESS civilisation - of which the Dragon Isles lacked massively outside of Valdrakken.
Also, doing Avaloren but making it a Titan playground of theme park zones instead of something based on Avalon and Camelot? No thank you.

I think its 80/20 real at this point...saw someone point out that they have vertical fog which indicates DF or later client was used. At this point if thats fake Blizzard should hire whoever made it.
Not going to put too much stock into any text leak though especially if they dont touch on Classic which seems to be a major part of this Blizzcon.

I still think it's fake because the text leak came first and is explicitly linked with the images and the website (the zones in the images are explicitly the same ones as in the text, plus the races), and the text leak has so many red flags that it automatically invalidates the images alongside it.
The website leak also has a lot of strange decisions like the staff not sitting properly in the dwarves hand.

Pretty much this.
I’m pretty sure the leak has been a collaborative effort of some skilled people who have made some small slip ups. Wouldn’t be surprised if some of them were present in this thread.
Leak season has become a pretty big thing in the hardcore WoW community. It’s no stretch to think a few folk have planned this for a while.
You can assume when these four awful looking stills are the best they could come up with for a preview. If there are better locations or areas to be shown and they chose these four, well, mission failed I guess.

I‘m also in the they are fake camp. It‘s too bad to be real. If it’s real, Blizzard is tone deaf.

I'm pretty sure the order here is wrong. The very first thing with Agg'ora was the website leak, and then came the pictures of the 4 zones that just happened to have an Agg'ora in the background of one of the pictures in a zone with the same skybox.
Then just yesterday came the longer SoA leak that added the Greyveil Glade zone name for the mountains with fog.
I've seen a lot of people conflating the website leak with like the Stormbreaker logo which came out around the same time but are not connected.

We can have focus on dwarves and not have it be some entirely new made up variant of them. I love dwarves. They're one of the main reasons I main Alliance despite not maining one.
I want to know about the dwarves we already have, and want the playable race to be something we asked for that isn't just a slight variant on something we have two slots for already.

I predict 11.0 logo would be purple and gold.
