1:1 to what?? I'll admit the vague shape is very similar, but to state so boldly it is 100% the same thing is reaching.

Not hard with the amount of tools available today. I follow several people on twitter who make custom WoW models, and you can check out servers like Epsilon to see people build worlds out of their assets.

The thing about the 4 Avaloren images that stand out is how completely different the shadows look compared to in-game shadows, trailer reveal shadows and even promotional shadows. It was the first thing that stood out to me about the image.

The Briarhorn in the 4th pic is a very good fake if so. Every "debunking" I see of the Briarhorn falls flat though, because it's literally just an adult model of the pet already in game.

Someone posted images showing the adult Briarhorn has textures very similar to one of the Direhorn mounts from MoP. That kind of kills it for me.

About the blue dwarf - The hairstyle and beard the model it is using are the same that playable dwarves have, right?
I think if they would show new race of dwarves it would have some unique to them new hairstyle etc, like dark iron dwarves have fiery beard and such.

Of course it's just nitpicking and only a thought i just had.

The full figure can barely be made out. It fits the shape and color profiles, when upscaled. I'm conceding I didn't even realize what you were talking about at first because in the original image you can hardly tell that's supposed to even be something.

Pretty difficult. I'm suspicious, but it's extremely high-effort. While there are a couple things that make it seem a bit dubious, it's unequivocally a labor of love if it is faked.

And I'd counter not difficult at all. Just go to google and see what people have made for their private servers.

It's not extremely difficult at all, the reason people are suspect at all instead of immediately accepting it as real is because of how not difficult it is.

It is still a great deal of effort to build and plan, and design, much more than a text leak or AI image, but it's not remotely impossible.

We've literally seen staged "in-game" fakes before, from the lead into BfA's reveal to even it's end.

Wouldn't surprise me if they cheated and reused some old models/rigs to get this expac out faster. While also working on the world/mob revamp Ion talked about. Saves the art team stress.

I gotta mention, if the images are real, it's strange that they aren't basing the titan architecture on anything new but just keep going with the Tyrhold architecture.

We usually either receive a brand new take on titan tech, like Uldum, Uldir and Mogu'shan or they are updating and reiterating on the old Uldaman aesthetic, like in Ulduar and Tyrhold.
Though the latter are each several expansions apart.

Even in legion, Halls of Valor looks completely unique.

I think his point his we can't deduce anything from 4 screenshots + screenshots can be very underwhelming but still be real.
Although if I may- these are screenshots from the trailer, correct? The SoA alleged leak screenshots are more like press material/website-related, so we're comparing apples and oranges here

They were from the announcement trailer at Gamescom. The leaks suggest they are also from the announcement trailer, well at least the first pic, seeing that it's using the New Continent splash

Yeah, but when someone posted more close up picture it looked weird, like something just added and other hand looked badly cropped.

Its not a joke, is a real concern, the dracthyr have an awful design, and i expect more of it.

Staging the fight as a background detail is both interesting from a hiding detail point of view, and also would blizzard stage a fight like that so far in the background with a brand new race

Who knows. Assuming it's real I suppose it could be a thing where the earthen shape their own bodies into weapons.

the thing about those images is that they don't show anything interesting, only a bunch of reused assets. usually one wants to show the best side of something they're trying to sell, but idk i might be wrong.

After the picture with the dwarf (a similar one is featured in the website leak too, anyway), the THIRD one, the one with the harpy, if you look closely on the right there is an harpy fighting an aggo'ran. The model is 1:1 the one from the website leak

Ok idk how I got fooled by this but thanks to the one posting the briarhorn pet in closer details. I can safely tell its fake, the adult briarhorn just have some very old and crusty textures (MOP) it would be unlikely to be their work especially when you see how smooth are the creature models nowadays

Compare new dragons models with olds one etc. Its way too much crusty to be wow current artstyle. Also I feel like that aerie peak statue might just be the mount the gryfon stone mount from the anniversary rigged that way and with the glow deleted through .blp on photoshop

If I had access to a sandbox version of Dragonflight and some kind of world edit software, given enough time (like a few days), I could probably replicate the environments shown in the images since they seem to be mostly showing reused assets. People do these kinds of things a lot on servers-which-shall-not-be-named.

Creating the dwarf and dino models is the actual hard part and not something I would be able to do since you need to actually know how to make custom models. At best I would be able to paint over basic dwarf and dino models in Photoshop to make them look like they're custom models, but people would probably be able to tell.

TLDR: Pretty damn hard, but not impossible for someone with the right tools and skillset.

Everyone can come to their own conclusion, but the hands on both frozen dwarf and the other ogre looking something dwarf theres something weird about the hands, one looks better than the other, that one thing is sus to me.
