Well it was already discussed and that conclusion was reached back when the image came out. The only reason it came up again as worth discussing is because there is a mount in Classic which has a name that perfectly fits the wood dragon, despite them never adding the lunar new year mounts to Classic before. It's since been pointed out though that the rabbit was datamined for Classic and never made it into the game, so it might not mean much. Bit weird that they seem to have decided to make one for Classic despite knowing they never used the last one they made for Classic though.
Who knows? We just might return to Pandaria. I mean DF is a second Cata not a secon MoP.
I mean not only we have the Druids of the Flame attacking a world tree again the Firelands raid came in the .2 patch. Like in DF
Not to mention we are fighting angry dragons, one of them made a pact with the void, a good chunk of the plot is about Deathwing, and all the aspects are here.
So yeah, this isn't MoP, this is cata.
That means we still need MoP 2.0
So Chinese culture might be super relevant. Hell, if Avaloren has Mogu I might be more accepting. Especially if one of the factions get them as playable.
I am not saying to make it super challenging. I am saying to add more of a gameplay twist to it to make it more engaging.
Sure, you might not play M+. Personally I don't care for pushing keys or progression raiding, but I do still need that baseline level of challenge to make farming raids enjoyable.
I am sure you have something you enjoy in the game. And I am sure that the challenge is part of that reason. Whether it's the challenge of gathering cosmetics. The challenge of matching Transmog for the perfect set. Or the challenge of bog standard questing.
And the point with basic movement is that we already have an extremely easy, extremely convenient solution to that. They are called flight paths, and they take you from point A to B with two click of a button.
Dragonriding should still be convenient and accessible to everyone. But it shouldn't be the catch all solution to everything. And currently I feel it is.
The world revamp dream will never die!
I'm not really sure why old flying and even older flying paths even deserve any kind of an attention or should be encouraged in any way
It is a challenge, and it's own with several solutions.
You could be a tank and ignore daze mechanics.
You could buy a boarding for your mount that does the same.
You could take a different route.
You could take a flight path, skipping all of that.
Flying collapses all of those choices into one. Use your flying mount.
And while Dragonriding is much better than old flying in this regard, it could still be better designed.

I don't understand how they said having people use the portals in Cataclysm was bad, then in BfA and Shadowlands they came up with even worse ways to separate zones.
I have been wondering what a Pandaria revamp would look like.
Obviously, the next question after a world revamp of EK and Kalimdor is what area will be reused next. Outland already kinda got a revamp with WoD, and that only leaves Northrend and Pandaria as old continents that could use a fresh coat of paint.

If it is better and people enjoy it more - and most people are enjoying dynamic flight in its *current* form - then why can't it be the solution to everything. What is wrong with that. Even now, flightpaths are still useful if you have to AFK or don't want to focus on the trip. Static flight will still likely be preferable for gathering. This is all true *without* introducing artificial difficulty. Why mess up one of the most universal wins this game has had?

I'm still banking on their being a surprise Warcraft RPG being worked on.
It's been something I've heard about in leak communities for years now, almost as long as the rumors for the survival game that ended up being real.
It might all be BS, mind. But I can dream!
So guys, after all this leaks how certain we are that its NOT avaloren? Because im fearing it.................
If I had to bet, I would say Avaloren is more likely than not, at this point. And to be clear, that is even without those four screenshots (although, I do still think those are probably real)
