We just recently got a support spec added to the game, and it both works just fine and was quite well received.

I think the bigger problem is how many support specs you need in the end in bigger groups. And then it’s the same competition as between healers / tanks, meaning you’re just stealing slots from other specs. As DPS that’s generally not a problem, but for all other roles it can be problematic. I mean sure, in the end you can just respec, but this problem shouldn’t be ignored or overlooked. And if you add more support specs, how do they differ from each other?

The prospect of tall elemental dwarves being a new playable race is really wild. Almost all of the previous race and classes have either been part of the game for some time that people started asking for them to be playable, or fulfills a certain fantasy or archetype or aesthetic, and I don't think Algarian fits either of those. There probably have been asks for Earthens, but I don't think there's that much that they'd give it to us something that is similar but not quite.

Playable new Tall elemental dwarves and some weird asspull of big dwarf looking ogres prospect is weird to me.

They have good amount of races in their backbone that they could add, races that have been asked for years and years and if they once again go with something completely new then it's just very annoying and stupid in my opinion.

They already fullfilled they quota to be "original" with Dracthyr as being something completely new, now it's time to add something that community asked about for years.
In the end, it might not even be the races i personally have a lot of copium to appear like Ogres(, Mok'nathal or Vrykuls, but at least something long established instead of some asspull just to be "original" again.

If some of the older races don't fit 1:1 with new expansion theme, then just make a quest for it like heritage armours and here you have it.

We will have a much better idea after this tier. Evoker gets significant changes in 10.2 that should keep the scaling in check for raids. For M+ content, one support will always be max. Ideally they will want support to be interchangeable with other dps but imo if it rounds out to 2-3 support being ideal and then they add 3-4 more support specs, that will work ok. Ofc at some point, 20man for raids will start to feel small when it comes to spec competition (not because of support specs, because of total number of classes and specs in general)

I mean they’re used to it, expecting a revamp since after Legion and to never learn is pretty much their own fault. Sad it is, but after the third time you just should know better than to still expect it.

I mean, the whole "We return from PlaceX and Azshara/the Legion/EnemyY took over Azeroth and destroyed it!" has been a thing since Warlords.

Both of these are wrong.

There are a fair number of musicians who do actively do magic with their music. The other bard Russell , Signe, Zor'lok, Winslow, and Chi-Ji, as well as Kyrian and their Mawsworn fallen kin, the latter of who use music to debuff and the former who build all sorts of musical instruments to purify or attack their enemies (hence all the music/sound based spells: Echoing Reprimand, Divine Toll, Resonating Arrow).

Nothing about evokers is based on existing game mechanics. This is hugely dishonest. First, the point of Evokers isn't combining magic, it's being able to wield multiple flights magic, their spells literally go from chromatic to focusing on a single color. Already this comparison isn't really accurate. Second, the dota character (I don't know why you'd bring this up when dota was just made up custom game shit) is Invoker. Evoker isn't someone who mixes magic outside of DotA (which again, is Invoker). It's just a general term for a spellcaster, e.g. the entire basic "do damage" school of D&D magic being Evocation.

I've never heard of that.

Looking at the few Kyrian NPCs, barely any of them use any spells with a musical reference, and most of the Covenant abilities are hardly musical.
