Keep in mind they designed the class after the race.
Ion even mentioned they made the class because it didn’t make sense for Dracthyr to start as other classes given their story. So they decided to make a class for the race. (Not the other way around)

The tail swipe stuff would be interesting - I guess the kick animation from monks?
Making non drac evokers would be cake.

Just make it so that abilities that use drac anatomy have the character momentarily turn into an ethereal drac form.

Kinda like how DHs turn into meta for eye beam and chaos nova.

Yeah but it would look fine is my point - there's no technical reason evoker can't work on other races

The deep breath ability involves flying over an area while breathing the fire though. Not sure how that'd work for non-draconic races!

    So what???

How many tauren monks did you see prior to mop?

Several Lightforged Draenei. (Arguably there’s more LFDs being seen piloting mechs than Gnomes)
    Siegemaster Mar'tak (A Mag’har orc)

None. Because the Tinker class hasn't been added. I've seen plenty of non Goblin and Gnome characters using engineering. How many non-Pandaren did you see as monks before Monk was added as a class? One human in Scarlet Monastery? Certainly no Tauren or Night Elves or Gnomes, etc.

Personally I despise dracthyr so I won't ever play a evoker until they do open it up, so I'd welcome them making it available to every class

They don't need to open up DH because it's already massively popular; they have however, given monk to every race in the game - suggesting they want more people playing it
Yeah but if your argument were true Blizzard would have created a class that every race could play, not a restricted class that requires a completely new race to utilize.

Also I don't know if you've been checking recent numbers, but DH numbers have collapsed since Legion.

Make em sprout a set of wings and just use the dragonbreath animation

Like I said, obviously it won't look as good as as dracthyr, but I just think it's a shame they lock a whole class behind such a ridiculous looking race

Ah, but we've seen Mekkatorque, Gazlowe, King Mechagon, and Gallywix utilizing mechs in LORE. That's the difference. So while they're not accessible to players, we do know that there is a class of character in WoW that fights inside mechanical mechs, and its restricted largely to Gnomes and Goblins.

And Pandaren monks, including Chen Stormstout, existed in LORE before MoP. Didn't stop other non-Pandaren races from getting monks after MoP launched.

A lot of people would. The reaction of Mekkatorque on Broken Shore was proof enough of that.

Don’t forget the Nightborne Ael'Yith that was essentially piloting a mech.
    Or the non-goblins piloting shredders

Well yeah because we had non-Pandaren monks in lore for years before MoP. We had Scarlet Crusade Monks, Risen Monks, Archenui Monks, etc. all over the place. Also the Pandaren culture was all about sharing knowledge with other races. That was established in WC3.

Can we please get back on topic, and not devolve into yet another "Tinker thread". Feel free to make your own for that, but there is more to the future of WoW than a potential and hypothetical class.

I don't see them adding a new class in the coming expansion anyway. Maybe they will work on more support specs, but not a full new class.

Blizzard even demo'd it a little with the craftable combat mech suit for Engineers in Legion, and the NPC goblin crew in Island expeditions that had Tinker-unique abilities and combat mechanics

Also, plenty of mechs exist that aren't invented by goblins/gnomes

Plenty of Blood Elf and Draenei mechs exist - it's not a stretch of imagination to imagine them being piloted

and as you said, the LFD are quite known for piloting mechs. And we had that dude in HFC piloting a mech. So yea, enough examples.

Given that the alternative is the eternal circular discussion on whether or not The Four™ are real, this is the first time in a while we've had something else to discuss
