It's possible, but I wish they would just make their leak into a single post like everyone else instead of dragging it on like this. They're commenting so much it would be like a second job to maintain the imgur album mirror for everything they've said about 11.0.

Also I kind of get the impression they just enjoy going against the grain and the attention that comes with it. When the SoA leak was gaining popularity, they had to come in and say "there's no SoA."

Now that the attention is once again shifting away from them, they decide to come in with another contrarian take about the screenshots being fake.

And yet, zero proof.

I think Algarstorms and 22mage22 are the same person, or at the least in on it, and responsible for the avaloren leaks.

Whenever we get a "leak" thread and the person is banned, some twit always goes "whoa, they're banned! That may mean it's real! Blizzard did it!!!1" while they also ignore prominent leaks disseminated by Wowhead et al. in the past.

22mage and Algarstorms also have two completely different styles of typing, albeit, yeah, you can easily fake that.

I don't really think either is true or not true, but people, as usual, do not brain gud.

So everyone knows, @Algarstorms is the user who posted the Storms of Avaloren leak from October 18th.

I actually had it rated fairly high since it seemed to share a lot of details with the zone screenshot leak (which I also believe to be fake now, but that's besides the point).

Anyway, @22mage22 and @Algarstorms just randomly happening to browse the forums at the same time makes me think it's probably the same terminally online hoaxer having fun muddying the waters of what is and isn't real.

In this day and age, the ability to have email accounts unassociated and a VPN to get past that isn't exactly hard. It's just not worth it unless you are actively trying to make a ruse.

I don't know if saying this will get me banned, but when I was trying to get my Tides of Vengeance leak going, I shared it here on an alt account using a VPN and the mods never banned it.

Mods are acting based on presumably IP or IP and location. Any VPN, proxy browser, a cell phone using mobile data, posting from a coffee shop or a neighbor's wifi, would get you around this and let you make an undeleted burner.
