Why does everyone assume Khaz Algar is a zone/city? Is there something ingame that states it's a part of Avaloren? After all, Khaz Modan is a continent, why not Khaz Algar?

Absolutely! In fact, there's a great chance we may get a leak at some point between now and the opening ceremony, which would drastically effect the page count. People also tend to get into a bit of a posting frenzy in the hours leading up to the announcement, so even in a Teriz-deprived state it's perfectly possible we're going to outpace the current 'lull' we're in. The question is whether or not such a frenzy could account for a ~140-page deficit.
At the moment, my most optimistic estimates hinge on a new leak stirring conversation, and I'm going to bet that leak is going to happen the day before Blizzcon.
Any new juice, any debunks, Leaks or are we out here drying up in the Info-sahara?
You will be remembered a hero, soldier.
I am not actually sure what indications we have for either's size. A lot of speculation seem to hinge on Avaloren being a continent that Khaz Algar may be located in, which I believe stems from the Four Screenshots™ labelling the continent Avaloren. So, if that leak is to be believed and we still believe Khaz Algar is happening, we'd have to assume Khaz Algar is located somewhere in Avaloren.
But, should those screens prove fake and Avaloren is still happening, I'm not sure if there's anything to say Khaz Algar isn't the continent, and Avaloren the city.
BFA's name was the first to be leaked, I think, because it was spotted in one of those trademark registration things. I don't think I saw a leak where the name was attached to an accurate description of the expansion, though. I recall most speculation, after the name was discovered, was that "Battle for Azeroth" was going to be the title of some new Warcraft-based mobile game because it sounded very not-expansion-y
People have always assumed it even though I don't think there's anything in game that forces them to be in the same place. I think it is natural to assume they are though because of "Algarian Stormrider". Storms can be associated with Avaloren because we know there are storms west of kalimdor. We know from the green dragon story that someone crossed that stormwall (at least allegedly). And given that odyn's expeditions to Avaloren result in wreckage it's natural to think that storms are protecting avaloren. And so storms are linked to Avaloren. And now Khaz Algar is linked to storms via the storm rider mount. So they get slapped together. It doesn't have to be that way. It just seems likely.
But is there anything tying them together at all, other than the fact that they both first got mention in Dragonflight? Could they be two completely separate continents/regions, like Pandaria and Northrend? Everyone seems to assume they're connected, but from what I can tell the only established connection between them is that they are both namedropped in the new Uldaman, but in separate books. The books also mention Uldorus and we know that is nowhere near Khaz Algar OR Avaloren
This will probably come out as a photo for ants but:
Both leaks share the same model ogre-dude. So there must either be collusion, faked by the same guy, or this shit is real.
If you find a higher res or better scaled version of the desert pic in the "leak" you can see the matching red marks on the chest.
Pretty positive this is an elaborate fake leak by the same person(s). Give it a few days and we'll see a "making of" post.
Not sure about how the trademarks work, can they be "hidden" until a reveal date?

Perfectly possible that they're entirely separate locations. Although both have strong ties to the Titans/Keepers, so it depends on if Blizzard wants to do two continents where one is,
Avaloren, a location where Titan Keeper Odyn sent unsuccessful expeditions of Titan forces to pursue heretics
and the other is,
Khaz Algar, a location where a group of Earthen dwarves were sent by the Titan Keepers to investigate anomalies and subsequently started developing culture.
I think there's quite a lot of overlap between the two

If the photos of Avaloren are fake, I'm going all in on Avaloren being the moon. #TeamMoon
Yes, that's what I'm saying - the books mention three locations - Uldorus, Khaz Algar, and Avaloren. Uldorus is its own thing not close to the other two, so it stands to reason same applies to Khaz Algar and Avaloren. Why mention three separate locations and have two of them be basically the same thing?
It's been discussed.
The Website as some very obvious signs of AI, the artwork is not very great, the dwarf has weird fingers, the staff said dwarf is holding has tops and bottoms that don't line up, and the part of the website talking about new zones features a picture of a new race instead of the zone. Not even counting all the website spelling issues and format issues.
All reasons to think, just from the website, that these Avaloren screenshots are fake. Then add into the reused assets from the screenshots, and it becomes kind of a foregone conclusion.
That being said, who knows. It's more than possible it can be real .
