So is the Blizzcon panel name leak the one I see being posted around currently? Seems a bit overambitious at first glance, but people seem to be taking it seriously, which makes me think I am missing something.

People pointed out that it was missing WoW from the Opening Ceremony (which would be insane), although to be fair they say "including" which doesn't necessarily exclude WoW, they might just be giving examples of which games will be showcased. But I would have dismissed it as a fake regardless.

Azeroth reborn sounds mega fake every way you look at it. Evokes the failure of ff 14's first version. Overloads the concept of being "born" in the context of world souls. Doesn't make any sense.

I do think Classic+ would generate more hype than an expac that is just 4 zones, 8 dungeons and a raid. The retail expac would need some big feature to compare.

Though I still have no idea what Classic+ is and given how different the opinions are, neither does the community.

I think spears are unwieldy in the wilderness. They are built for different purposes. Sure, maybe shorter spears that are poison-tipped is a thing in the Amazon or something, but then it's more associated with warriors I think. Hatchets are way more agile, and can be thrown in cool ways.

The first Voidstorm leak also mentions an underwater zone, but that whole post feels like it's formatted too well to be a genuine leak.

I think whoever did those screen shots will come out clean day before Blizzcon or in the day of Blizzcon even.
That way they will tremendously boost the degree of excitement and wonder needed for a good announcement.
Still wouldn't be surprised it's was made and thrown by Blizzard themselves, to mess with players and lower the expectations so the actual expansion hit harder.

I also think the whole theme of explosives for Survival is weird. Traps, fine. Makes sense in the wild. But explosives goes against the whole "surviving in nature" theme, and seems like something that would just end up giving your position away.

Yeah someone brought it up earlier.
It does seem weird to me if Khaz Algar is literally next to Ulduar though but I would not mind a Northrend Revamp!
War of the Scaleborn actually mentions plenty of locations that would likely be on Northrend; both Vyranoth and Iridikron had lairs there.
Plus Odyn is right there. We could have a revamped Ulduar raid!

OK I am behind this idea. Northrend Revamp, Elun'ahir below Sholazar, Azjol Nerub zone, the lairs of the different Incarnates as possible dungeons or raids, Ulduar. It is perfect to continue the story, it has some underground zones without being underground, Dalaran is no longer there so we could get Crystalsong proper.

If we did get a 10.3 proper patch with a raid and everything, I personally would have speculated a Northrend Visual Update (not revamp) as the location for this reason; it just works with the story. Have Uldaz be a facility beneath Northrend, they had more than Ulduar after all.

You're thinking of lances. Those are battlefield weapons. Hunting spears are most definitely usable in a forest.
